PLOT:
Batman has re-awakened as a vampire and tries to feast on the surviving super-heroes that are stuck in stasis in the room with him. Unfortunately for him Batman of Earth-12 and Apollo of Earth-50 are protected by the field that keeps them immobile. Seeing that he won't be able to make a meal out of them, Batman instead decides to go and try to round up the Calvary waiting to do battle elsewhere in the ship.

The communist Superman of Earth-31 is still in disagreement with Superman of Earth-30 over what to do with the vest. With the proper power source, Earth-31 Superman theorizes, this should be able to breach the forcefield keeping them inside the ship. The Zen-like Christopher Kent of Earth-16 theorizes that perhaps Monarch was so angered by the Green Lantern's ring destroying his face shield because he didn't want the others that perhaps he too is just another world's version of one of them - which means he shares the same weaknesses as his twins.

The battle between the Starman of Earth-17,7 and 48 commences. In the end only the Starwoman of Earth-7 is left standing. As the others are sitting helpless to do anything other than watch, the vampire Batman finds his way into the room. He manages to get the vest away from Earth-31's Superman and hands it to Quantum Storm who in turn hands the vest to Breach. Batman sends Breach out with a mission to bring back as many versions of Captain Atom (Monarch's alternate identity) as he can find and bring them back here to face off against Monarch. Breach leaves in a flash of light and the Supermen face off in order to cause a distraction so that Monarch does not notice. Christopher Kent tries to stop the fighting but is punched in the back of the head by Monarch who sends the Flashes off to battle.

Lia tricks the other two into battling each other. When she believes Jay Garrick to have the upper hand she turns on him. Unfortunately for her, the Crime Society's Flash is not dead and instead shoves his fist through her heart. After a brief battle, Johnny Quick tricks Jay Garrick into coming close enough for him to send his fist through Jay's skull killing him instantly.

After an intense battle between Wonder Women, Monarch also obtains a Wonder Woman (of Earth-12) for his army. Meanwhile back on Earth-13 (the Earth in which Monarch destroyed the United States as punishment for Eve of Shadow's dissention) Breach extends a hand to Brigadier, Eve's husband to join them in battle against their villainous twin.
