Breach is revealed as a traitor but redeems himself at the last moment by allowing Superman of Earth 31 to escape via the harness. Breach soon thereafter meets his demise. In the end, the "Captain Atom Brigade" is defeated and Monarch selects Red Son Superman to join his now complete army of superheroes and villains.
