INTERESTING NOTES:
- In 1968, Eartha Kitt made several negative comments about the Vietnam War reportedly causing first lady Lady Bird Johnson to start crying. The subsequent negative publicity from the incident caused Miss Kitt to leave the country for several years.
- Footage of The Dynamic Duo crossing the street and racing through bustling crowds in Gotham City (filmed in downtown Los Angeles) is edited from the 1966 Batman movie.
- Envisioning Catwoman as black was unique to the television series, an experiment that hadn't been repeated until the 2002 failed Catwoman starring Hallie Berry.
- The first appearance of Eartha Kitt as Catwoman #3! She replaced Julie Newmar who at the time was filming her role of Hesh-Ke for the Columbia Picture Mackenna's Gold (which also featured Bat-guest villains Burgess Meredith and Eli Wallach).
