REVIEW:

Returning since "Batgirl Begins Pt. 2", Poison Ivy is back resuming her mission. This episode was "known" since Pierra, the voice actress for Ivy, told the people at LoG that she did one more episode. So how did it go?

Poison Ivy in this episode couldn't have been the same since her first appearence. That's good since once a villian changes attitude and feel, it's hard to believe them again. I must admit the story seemed campy at first until few minutes in, then it was a whole lot better.

I know for a fact that once Penguin was revealed to be in this episode, everyone was complaining like hell. Well that would be understandable, however he wasn't focused in the episode. Instead, Ivy's clone of him was. That would be the relief viwers must've gotten. Because of that, this passed easily.

The plot of Ivy wanting to "Green up Gotham" would seem chessy at first until a few minutes in. Once her plant monsters were revealed, and she wasn't any different in terms of character, I had the feeling of BTAS with the episode; House & Garden.

Overall a very good episode. TB's true potential has shown it's face again.

RATING: 8.5/10

You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

Ok.

The Matrix...I mean the Plantrix. I see elements were borrowed from BTAS...which is an ok thing. Also, I see they toned down Ivy's powers a bit to more fit her personality...otherwise she was unstoppable. Instead of her powers leaning towards plant magic...it was back to plant science/genetics...which is the way it should be. I liked this episode better than the Ivy 2 parter...I also liked the fact that Batgirl did not outshine The Batman this time around.

Oh yeah...and whats a Batman episode without Penguin?

Meh.

7.8/10

this was a good episode. i liked it. Batgirls wasnt as annoying as she usually is, she was a "normal" character. Ivy was great. they really showed her obsession for the plants in this one. i also felt a real TAS vibe in this one, the idea was borrowed from House & Garden, but Ivy's plan in the TB episode was on a larger scale. the Penguin didnt really bother me in this episode, i kind of liked the idea of how Ivy "used" him to steal the chemicals, it threw Batman off the trail from the real villain. Ivy seemed more dangerous in this episode, and maybe even a little more tragic, especially at the end where she just kind of slumped in defeat as her plants were destroyed. the team up of Batman and Batgirl also seemed more believable in this episode, it was almost like a partnership. i wish there were more episodes like this one.

i give this one a 9/10.

u know what? now that i think about it...penguin is in almost every episode one way or another, lol. but i liked this episode. it reminded me of BTAS because of the plant-people.

poison ivy is a high schooler in TB, but shes just as crazy.::ivy::

whatever happened to the toymaker episode. i wanted to see that.

Anybody like that scene?

"Would you want siome flowers?"

and Batman just punches the woman. BAM!!

Reminds me of Simpsons where everyone was zombies. "Dad, you killed the zombie Flanders." "He was a zombie?"

It was a pretty fun episode. I liked the use of Ivy, she wasn't totally over the top, I liked how she was in the season opener but I liked her even more here. She's definately one of the more powerful TB enemies and it shows. I liked how she was behind the scenes for most of the story, kidna like how she was behidn the scenes in Batgirl Begins pt.1.

I felt like it was a good episode. But I'm still missing Yin, when I saw that shot of the Gotham police Department I got my hopes up thinking Yin would reappear.

Oh wells, good episode.

fluers du mal....i actually liked this episode! poison ivy felt more threatening to me now, and although penguin was in it, another episode with poison ivy(an unexplored villain in TB) kept me entertained. and one thing i really really like about TB is Batman is a martial artist, and they show this in TB. in fluers du mal when batman fights those plant cops batman is seen doing boxing jabs, roundhouse kicks spin kicks and alot of martial arts moves. btas, although it had great action batman really relied more on just heavy hits and heavy kicks than any martial arts influenced moves what do you guys think? well i give it an 8.0/10 good episodeSmile
