TV Shows on DVD reports that Batman Beyond will be coming to DVD on March 21st of next year in a 13 episode 2 DVD box set.
UPDATE - 12/08/05:
 
Synopsis: Terry McGinnis was just an ordinary teenager...until his father was mysteriously murdered. Suspecting foul play at his father's company Wayne/Powers Corporation, Terry meets Bruce Wayne and learns a secret identity hidden for decades. Now too old to battle injustice, Wayne refuses to help. So Terry does what any brash young kid would do: steal the Batsuit and take matters into his own hands! Vowing to avenge his father's death, Terry dons the high-tech suit ? tricked out with jetpacks, a supersensitive microphone and even camouflage capabilities ? in search of his father's assassin. Get in on the action from the beginning of a new partnership between an ex-crimefighter and his apprentice.

That is awsome. I've only seen the two-parter beginning once and I'm sure there's an episode here and there I've missed completely. I always felt a little incomplete with Batman Beyond, but it'll be great to have these all on DVD.

i still liked it. i saw batman beyond more of a robin show. to me, terry was robin with a batman suit. but maybe thats just me.

Yeah, it did feel shortlived and underrated, with the minimal promotion and merchandising. Just unfulfilling, but I suppose for such a diverse cartoon it did pretty well.

I think that is pretty close to what the original intention was. I don't know this for sure, but I always thought that Batman Beyond was made because people wouldn't watch a show with just Robin (yes, I know some of you would) so they make a future Batman with all the same problems that Robin has. They even slipped in all the red touches in the suit to give it that Robin feel. Granted I don't know that for a fact, but it made sense to me.
Maybe they'll say something in one fo the documentaries about that concept.

YES YES YES finally, I've been aching for this for a while. The suit wasnt too bad get over it lol. The ears were a bit big in my opinion but w/e it was still a good show
