After Brawn which was mixed (more bad than good which I didn't fight anyone to look my way, since I said the same thing), this season's track goes up again from bad to good with this episode.
Catwoman comes back after her last appearence in Season Two's "Ragdolls to Riches". In this episode, she wasn't in her other appearences which she just stole. She did still, but she was most in line on what she was on animals. That brought her more out as the animal activist that she is. I only wished she and Batman would be "together" like in the comics. But that doesn't happen. Catwoman is still a good character and on the good side of things when it comes to animals. She's a good person.
Before; Batgirl showed up when Batman needed help or wanted to join in on whatever he was doing. This started in Batgirl Begins Part 2, now it was changed. When the episode started, Batman and Batgirl were finally side by side. It had "Dymanic Duo" written all over it than before. That was a good chance for once.
Joker was the villian again. People complain about him appearing all the time. But in this episode, he wasn't annoying nor stupid. He was....normal. Not his normal, the type where he didn't act the way he normally acts. No problem there, just different. He did have his tricks and traps, but no jokes. Nothing that I heard people hating him for. By the way; Joker's hyenas were a good addition. It made me remember BTAS when they appeared with Joker.
Overall, this was bad. It was good enough which after Brawn many people would ask for. With these characters, there was some but not alot of development though. Hey, still good.
RATING: 7.5/10

unfortunatlet i got called into work for an emergency and was only able to catch the first few minutes on the t v in the break room. i'll have to wait until the Friday re run to watch it all. it was nice to see Catwoman again, but then Joker had to pop up. i dont care to what capacity they use him, its character overkill. this, to me, shows how few ideas this TB team has for stories when they keep using the same couple villains time and again. then, of course, here comes Batgirl. the teen screwup. she's a smart@ss, she's reckless, and is always endangering herself. as i said before, Batman would never allow this. im going to wait until i see the entire episode before i pass final judgement, but from what i did see, i dont have too high of hopes. maybe ill be surprised tho.

Shadowbat, I gotta agree on alot of waht you said. First, the title alone tells you that yep.. it's ANOTHER Joker story. It was nice to see Catwoman though.
And with Batgirl.. Shes the spit-n-image os Steph AKA Spoiler. Smartass, Reckless. Batman tried to train, and when she still was reckless he fired her. I understand shes there for the girls, but still.. there needs to be something done with her.
I was waiting for Penguin to show up. They did mention his name however.. I rate this one 6/10. They need some real stories.

they have some pretty lame stories, but the coolest action ever. i guess thats why its for kids. too much of a story bores the kids to death. i remember watchin BTAS as i was like 5 n falling asleep cuz they kept on talking n i never knew what was going on. not enuff action in BTAS to make kids happy.
if only we cud mix and match...BTAS's stories and TB's art/animation/action (woah, they all start with a)

OMG I can't beleive this episode wasn't recaived better. Oh well. Anywho I LOVED this episode, so far its my favorite from season three and one of my favorites overall.
I liked how Catwoman was used in this episode, they've started to explore her animal activist thing which is really cool and one of my favorite parts about the character. And just like Penguin she had somethign a tad different about her design.
Her design hasn't had a huge overhaul as she looks the same, but this time around she seemed....I dunno, softer I guess? Her face seemed a little rounder and more girly, her eyes seemed alot bigger (makign the goggles seem not so big) and her curves seemed more curvy and less angular than before. Overall I guess a good way to describe her would be alot more anime-ish. Thats the best way I can describe it.
Even her voice acting seemed different. I think Gina Gershon is alot more comfortable now, she sounds like it anyway. Before she sounded like she was makign everythign into a sexual inuendo, even when she was just talking normally. That bothered me a little bit, but she sounded a t tad different this time, but in a good way, like she's found the perfect way Catwoman should sound. To me anyway.
Batgirl, this episode might've worked without her but I'm starting to like her being around more and more. And Batman has obviously started to accept her as a sidekick, first he didn't want her, then he let her do what she wanted, then he let her work along side him, then he let him get in the car, now they're even closer.
And Joker.........ok overused! I definately agree. I mean Joker getting his hyenas was a nice little touch but couldn't they have done that in another episode? I mean, this episode would've been ok without Joker, if they had made that old dude the main badguy I'd have been happy. But I think he worked, and despite him being overused I think he was handled very well. He wasn't as over the top as he usually is.
Actually its pretty cool, in Brawn we saw Joker go completely over the top, but in this episode he was more subdued and even a tad threatening.
Overall I really enjoyed the episode, it made good use of Catwoman, Batgirl, and even Joker despite him being overused. If they're going to have alot of characters in episodes in the future, I hope they use them all well like they did here.
Oh and one last note, I liked it when Catwoman mentioned Batgirl being Catgirl, made me think of Dark Knight Strikes Again (I'd love to see an animted Catgirl.....or maybe I just want someone on roller skates......)

ok, caught this episode on the re-run. it wasnt that bad, it was "watchable". get rid of Batgirl!! man, she is just annoying. too many quips. this episode would have been 10 times better if not for her. we need to see more Bat and Cat interaction, its as if they want to portray a relationship when in fact there hasnt been anything remotely established. and i dont care if there were hyenas in this epsiode, cut the Joker usage.
ill rate this a 7.5 out of 10.

Finally saw this one.
Actually, it was pretty good...I liked Batgirl's interaction with Batman in this episode....the feel seemed right. Hmmmm...I wonder how they hooked up before going looking for Catwoman? Batman must've given her a Batman device simular to the one he gave to Lt. Yen.
Anyway, I expected the Hyenas to become a permanent part of Joker's team...but from what I gathered...it doesn't seem possible, they were more on Catwoman's side. The Hunter guy was pretty weak...he didn't put up much of a fight when Joker took over, and Joker knew exactly how to work his equipment afterward...meh.
Catwoman was very entertaining in this one...her part in this episode was second only to her preformance in "Ragdoll to Riches". This was Batgirls BEST episode to me.
rate 8.3/10

Maybe they're waiting for another Clayface episode before Yin comes back?
I dunno, I really miss Yin, she grew on me. As cool as Gordon is I liked Yin alot! I suppose she really did fulfill her role as the cop that doesn't trust Batman and gradually accepts him. But still, I liked her alot.
I hope they at least mention her at some point, maybe she got transferred back to Metropolis?
