I was listening to the radio here in Portland and Jack Black was being interviewed and said that he's still actually up for Green Lantern. He told the hosts he's waiting on a script and he hopes it's good and that he doesn't sully the Green Lantern's name. I thought that project was dead but apparently Warner's is still at least thinking about it, with Jack Black still attached to it.
That is really crappy. With the success that is happening with successful superhero movies, why would they choose the comedy route with this one? That just doesn't make sense.
If Nacho Libre doesn't do well they may cancel this for sure.

I doubt this will happen, SOMENONE has to ecercise some good sense. Remember Nic Cage as Superman?
In Italy, for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherlov- they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

Well, you know he won't be playing the main character (Jordon or Radner I presume). Did he even specify his role? He can do a good job given the right role, like in King Kong. Maybe he'll play someone like Guy Gardner.
