The latest edition of DreamWatch magazine includes an article on the fan-made "Restored International Cut" of Superman II, but even better than that, it notes that director Richard Donner (who was removed from the film after having already directed most scenes) has now been hired to work on a Special Edition DVD of "Superman II".
Does this mean we'll finally get to see the film that we were meant to see? Time wil tell!

This is might be due to fan made Superman II: RIC (Restored International Cut) since it was the first time the old cut was released, but by fans instead of WB, and selled at eBay and their websites instead of getting them from video sales.
And of course Superman Returns, which is like "duh!"
I don't know why WB didn't release it, let alone Special Editions of II, III, IV along with the Special Edition of Superman: The Movie.
Speaking of which, I want to see a SE of III and IV also. Because III had 18 mintues cut from it, and IV was incomplete.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.
(crack!)
And I'm the surgeon.
