This is to discuss the findings of new, cool stuff from the show that pearred at the Con. To the mods: if this topic belongs to the Comic Con section, please move it there. I didn't know where to put it and couldn't reach anybody for help.

To start the discussion;

Arkham Asylum Multi-Pack:
http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/features/MattelSDCC06.shtml

Superhero Times has some more pics of the new toys from Mattel like the Batwing, a new version of the Batmobile, even a brand new Batbot:

We get to see what the redesigned Batman looks like from his square chin to his pocket belt. Pretty TNBA if you ask me.

Same old, except for the Robin & Killer Moth figure:

Last but not least, a new picture, in cardboard cut out, of Robin:

Thanks go to the people at Legions of Gotham who reported the news & findings.

A good friend of mine, known as Ruseri, went to Comic Con and saw everything related to The Batman's new season.

Here is his report:
Firstly, I'd like to report some amazing surprises involving voice-casting.

The Everywhere Man will be voiced by none other than Superman himself, Brandon Routh!!!! Not only that, but Dick Grayson's father will be voiced by, for most people the definitive Batman (brace yourselves) ... KEVIN CONROY!!

I have video footage of the upcoming season that I will provide a link to later, but the quality is quite bad (though most of it should be fairly easy to make out).

Amoung appearances, in video form, we have; Harley Quinn (who looks amazing), Killer Moth, Black Mask, The Everywhere Man, and Clayface II (Matt Hagen). We're also treated to futuristic (the year 2027 to be exact) looks at Batman (think huge, like in Dark Knight Returns), Barbara (or should i say Oracle? That's right! She's in a wheel-chair), Dick Grayson (Nightwing, anyone?), Mr. Freeze, and the new, tank-like Batmobile (once again, think DKR).

After this, we are shown footage of the actual show, which starts off with Dick spending some time with his parents and then goes into a funeral scene where Bruce explains that he is going to take Dick in as a foster son. Some training scenes follow (Bane, Killer Croc, Firefly, and a giant robot are among the fights that Robin is shown taking part in), along with a scene that has Robin capturing who is, I assume, his parents' killer (his actual name is not mentioned). A final dramatic scene of Batman standing with both Robin and Batgirl on a rooftop is topped off with the revealing of this JLA member we've all been wondering about.

Are you ready?

...are you sure? Brace yourself.

the JLA member that appears in season four of The Batman is...

...

MARTIAN MANHUNTER! It will apparently happen in the season finale two-parter.

So anyway, that is all for now. I'll have the video footage and some pics of new toys online later tonight.
Hooray for Comic Con. hope you all are happy about the news! I know i was!!!!!
Looks like everyone who hated the show will love it as much as BTAS/TNBA. I can't wait. He said he'll have the video up later so, unless he does it here first, I'll keep you updated.

Note.. if it deals with COMIC CON.. it needs to be here. Thats why we have a TOY FAIR AND CON board.

Dan was not able to report to us like he has been, but we should get some pics from him soon.

Oh okay. I just thought it would fit the TB board since if people wanted to know about the seaosn but not the con, it could go there.

But anyway, I also heard to expect the Mad Hatter in a cameo and Mark Hamill is involved in the show. I don't know what he'll voice though.

Whoa...that's some pretty big news.

I love the news about the futuristic story(ies), can't wait!

It sounds like the people at WB are really trying to blow the fans away, and I'm loving it!

i wanna see that tanked out batman matsuda-style. im sure itll look really cool. its just sad that it wont be for the whole show, but just one episode. lol.

but anyways...that robin design is sorta different from the previous ones. and it looks alot better. the hair reminds me of dick grayson a whole lot, and the cape is really cool. i love it! TB is going to a really good direction. anyone think theres gnna be another season? if not, then all i need is another DTV, but with robin.
