Then go come back here and discuss your choices, or if you feel that someone was missing from the ballot.
Here is a rundown of who I voted for:
Favorite Writer: Gail Simone - I really enjoyed Birds of Prey and Villains United better than Infinite Crisis, Green Lantern, and Teen Titans.
Favorite Penciller: Ethan Van Sciver - the art in GL:Rebirth was amazing, this guy really needs to be on a Batman book, thumb through the series, Batman is always in shadow, very cool
Favorite Cover Artist: Michael Turner - the choices could be better here, Turner was the best from the ones listed
Fovorite Inker: Scott Williams - All Star Batman and Robin looks great, but Jim Lee's pencils aren't the same without Williams's inks
Favorite Painter: Alex Ross - no one does it better than Ross
Favorite Colorist: Jeremy Cox - I didn't pick up any of the other titles listed
Favorite Letterer: Nick Napolitano - he also did all the issues of Infinite Crisis, I am surprised that this category exists
Favorite Editor - I think that I left this blank, I am not all that thrilled with All Star, and I haven't been reading the other stuff
Favorite Male Hero: Blue Beetle - what little I have seen has made Beetle a better character than Jordan or Nightwing have been in the past year. hopefully the new creative teams on Nightwing will be better than what we have had
Favorite Female Hero: Power Girl - went from being third stringer to pivotal point of the Crisis last year
Favorite Villain: Max Lord - just as lethal and dangerous as Superboy Prime without the whining
Favorite Supporting Character: Alfred - no brainer
Favorite Ongoing Series: Teen Titans - only one I read
Favorite One-Shot: Countdown to IC - again only one I read, but cool none the less
Favorite Miniseries: Villains United - the best of the prelude to Infinite Crisis minis, just a lot of fun
Favorite Publisher: DC - that should be obvious
Favorite Comic Merchandise: blank - not really been amused with any of those things
Favorite Action Figure Line: Alex Ross' Justice - iconic neutrally posed figures, just doesn't get much better
Favorite Comic Movie Project: Batman Begins - no reason needed here either
Favorite Breakout Talent: Ed Benes - I just really like his art, Frank Cho is a very close second
Comics' Greatest Moment 2005: Wonder Woman kills Max Lord - I personally didn't see it coming
Fovorite TV Show: JLU - classic comic stories with a modern spin superhero shows don't get much better than this
Favorite DVD Release: Batman Two Disc SE - a much needed update on a classic movie, Begins needed a DVD as good as this one turned out
Favorite Video Game: Batman Begins - this is the only one I played
