I don't see a resemblance. Pretty cool costume. It looks a lot like the Blue Beetle in the Kingdom Come miniseries, especially the horn things on the shoulders. Pretty cool.

It does look a bit like the KC Beetle, now that you mention it. I just like the quasi-Egyptian feel it has. Really playing up the scarab theme. He looks like he could whip Venom's ass.

Who couldn't? Venom is so overrated. It looks like they ended up doing so many really bad stories with him in the 90's that, I have seen a lot of him in the past 5 years or so, outside of the Ultimate line. Then it sounds like the story was more for Carnage.

it does look like the KC version.
but i see it as the batman begins version, lol. he has sort of an armor look. awesome suit though! i liked ted kord's but this looks kooler. but i really dont like how comic characters always die. i hope bruce wayne never dies, which he probably never will.
