Voldemort is Harry’s father.
There’s a huge battle between them high in the tower at Hogwarts and Harry says “You killed my father” and Voldemort counters with “Harry, I am your father. Search your heart, you know it be true”. Harry screams in disbelief then pulls his wand to cast a spell to kill Voldemort. But Voldemort is too fast and he pulls a wand and says “Severus Handus” and slices Harry’s wand hand off.

OK, not really. My apologies to Star Wars and Harry Potter fans everywhere. I’ve been torturing my 11 year old with that story for the past couple days. Ain't I a stinker

Does that really happen? If so Tom-Tom should be given one of those negative point things... It was clearly stated not to post spoilers without warning and to do otherwise is clearly a step against the rules.
But I honestly thought he was joking.

Well.. honestly.. this thread is for spoilers. I changed the title. it's like discussing a movie after it's release and not telling the ending.. if it says spoilers, then more than likley you're going to read something you don't want to.
Blue Beetle, I do suggest that you discuss this after yo uread the book, for the simple fact, many people might try to spoil everything for you and any others. But that is up to you.

Chris, Blue Beetle clearly stated that all spoilers should have warnings. Now even if you change the title, it still stands that the only reason Tom-Tom had for spoiling the book without warning is to hurt other people; if your not going to give him negative points, at least edit the post so the spoilers are warned against and give Tom-Tom a warning not to do it again.

I didn’t take Tom-Tom’s post seriously, I thought he was joking I assume everybody else did too. The hype about this book is about the two deaths and one of them might be Harry Potter. I don’t think anybody brought up any of the characters getting married yet.

Yeah, it sounds pretty ridiculous; but still... If it does happen in the book it is excedingly rude to do what he did.

Right Ok, SPOILER WARNING (although I've gotta say, if you're reading this thread and you've not read the book, and you don't want to know what happens - quite frankly you're a fool!)
However;
If what Flabat says is true about Harry Potter dying (admittedly he was only relaying Potter-world speculation), then that's just blinkin' ridiculous.
I've got no great interest in Harry Potter, but as someone who (apparently) lives his life trying to recreate his childhood, I think that would be really sad.
I like my stories where the dashing hero gets the girl, kills the baddies, saves the entire planet, and they all dance off into the sunset, holding hands & living happily ever after. Just like the Dark Knight Returns.

Yeah, I guess I'm being a bit harsh... But still when someone makes a thread and says "Please don't do this" and you do it anyway, then really the only reason to that is to be mean...
And hey, there were many times when I got warnings for going slightly of topic in my wilder years, it just bewilders me that someone could so obviously break the rules just for the sake of being mean and get away scot free.
But now Chris has edited everything... So it's all good...

How did you manage to make me KnightE? Scarily, that's actually my nickname! It would probably be spelt Knightey - or Knighty, But Knighte would do it (in a sort of ye olde English way).
Knight is actually my surname (as in my real life one, not just my BYTB one).
Another Spoiler - I was in Woolworths today and they had the book - so I picked it up and read the last page (1st time I've ever read Harry Potter) - what Flabat speculated doesnt happen.....
