This can't be real, can it?

I am still a bit in awe of this, but it is pretty sobering when you consider that Mattel has the DC action figure liscense. Can a Batman/Ace the Bathound two pack be in the future?

Oh good lord.

Not only is it for real, but if you go to the Barbie website (and I've never done that before), there's actually a short video of it IN ACTION!

I thought initially that a kids toy (I assume this isn't for adults) couldnt be that sad, and I wondered if it was an elaborate hoax - so I had a look at the website, it's not!

Scary, isn't it? I thought the comments about Japanese culture invasion were pretty funny, though - especially in light of the recent "Kiss Player" Transformers.

I can just see the Batman set - it will also come with cleaning wipes to get the guano off of the computer and Batmobile.

It's so unbelievable we ran out of space for the thread title. Smile

I haven't seen the commercial yet, but that's pretty wild. I mean, I could maybe see a "Dog Walking" Barbie or something that comes with dog, leash, and maybe even a small pooper scooper, but even with Barbie's nearly 50 year existence (through Mattel), this is really out there. How do you even go about advertising this? Does it have a little girl playing with the dolls and watching in anticipation as the turd spreads open the dog's little plush anus?

The dog reminds me of politicians in New York State!

And Mattell gave children all the more reason to switch to Bratz dolls! You literally don't get s*** from them!! big grin (And the cartoon is amusing, too!)

In short, somebody at Takara decided it would be a great idea for Transformers to recieve additional powers by kissing girls. No, really - you can read the longer version here or, for those who can read Japanese, see the official site here. Sadly, as disturbing as that concept was in itself, a manga page was released that brought things to a whole new, even more disturbing level (link). Needless to say, Hasbro won't be bringing this concept to the States.

I know this thread has gone a bit cold (forgive me - yuck), but we actually had the advert for this on tonight's all new series 4 episode of The Batman! It was there, doing it's little poop live on TV at half time on A Matter of Family!

I didn't think it will take me long to find this thread - I still remember Caleson's "anus" post - a quick search unsurprisingly brought up not too many matches!

Unreal. My kid says he saw that commercial on regular TV. Probably Cartoon Network as that's his favorite channel.

And I remember back when they had all that uproar about the pregnant Barbie... I guess the miracle of birth is just to disgusting for kids, but the magical world of animal feces is perfect for the little tikes!
