REVIEW:
So we had to wait for the next issue of All Star Batman & Robin for.....wait, two months? Again?! Woah, either things are being fixed over at DC, or maybe this could be a sign of the apocalypse. Anyway, #6 was good as the Jim Lee got point for his art and I got the feeling that Miller was fixing things in this storyline. We got introductions from Jimmy Olsen to Batgirl to Gordon, and we got the return of Black Canary & Vicki Vale. Since #5, I've wanted a return of Wonder Woman. Black Canary made up for her, but still I 1would like to see her again. In any event, here is #7:
For the art, it was great like the others. Jim Lee did it at his best, which is what he does anyway. As for story, it did move to the point that started this series where we get to find out who hired Jocko-boy to kill the Graysons, and when ut was revealed, I remembered a question when this series started of how crazy Joker would be since Batman was crazy. And there you go; Joker is the one behind it, since it showed a Joker card at the end and that wouldn't be there after a scene where Batman listens when Jocko-boy answers to Dick (who kicks the crap outta him) on who told him to kill his parents. And yes, it does bring in a Batman (1989) feel to it all. How do I feel about it? It is an interesting idea because a common criminal element made Bruce Wayne into Batman, and now instead of the same thing, someone who represents everything Batman hates will make Dick Grayson into Robin. And I hope this is pulled off, because as of now, there is nothing I can figure out that can make Joker kill the Graysons. Unless they saw something that could've been used against him, or turned him down over something, that's all I can think of that can put in into this. So from all this, this was an okay issue. Maybe this could've been in #6.
So in this short review, overall this issue was okay. Since it continued from #6, maybe this could've been IN #6. Like any other All Star Batman issue, more "" from Batman & Black Canary toward one another and even the Batmobile. Also, Black Canary changed for me. She was shown more than some woman who enjoyed beating the crap out of men she got ticked off from. Instead, she is shown talking to this Batman about talking more than just fighting. Well he does listen, even though his well known "shut up" lines repeat. So this was okay, found out who ordered the Graysons to be killed, and I'm still ready with what's coming even with Joker now involved.
RATING: 3/5
Next Issue: Dick Grayson is reborn to fight crime as the Justice League tries to catch a bat!
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.
(crack!)
And I'm the surgeon.

Finally got to this comic yesterday. I'm still not really wowed by the title, but had to laugh when Batman flew off the handle at Canary questioning the name of his car. I don't know if that scene was written in response to the online reaction to "I'm the Batman," or if it was always planned, but it still amused me.
