I posted this idea on DC Comics a while back. Just curious what you all thought.
As happy as I am that All Star Batman & Robin is out and is taking an "Ultimate Batman" approach, would any of you like to see a "Batman & Robin" book in regular continuity?
I've been clamoring for the Dynamic Duo to pair up once again and I'd love to see it happen with all the baggage that comes with the current characters including Nightwing and Batgirl.
I wish that Detective and Batman would go back to that kind of format. I guess the past year or so has been fall out from Identity Crisis and War Games, but before that we barely saw just Batman and Robin. Sure it is nice to see the occasional solo story, but I want the dynamic duo to return to the main Bat-titles, too.
It's tough to sell me on Batman's involvement in any of the Infinite Crisis or JLA global catastrophe. Don't get me wrong, those stories are great, but I just kinda cringe when I see Batman engaged in some cosmic war.
If it were up to me, Batman would exist in a world that doesn't have anything to do with those events. The closer to reality you can make Batman, the better.
