Interesting interview. He was really playing up the possibility that Dick may not be Nightwing. Also the cover that they are showing there was interesting. I don't recognize it as anything that has been released before. It may be the cover to March's issue (note that new solicitations are coming this evening).

Yeah, it's March's cover. Everyone seems to be pointing out that the Red Hood was seen using that same type of dagger recently, and using that as evidence that Jason will take over as Nightwing. For one thing, it'd be awfully carelss of DC to let such a thing leak so early on, with such a dead giveaway of a clue. Plus, it makes no sense to me that anyone would take over as Nightwing. It's not like Batman, where he has trained others and it is assumed that someone will take over for him one day. If Jason were to replace anyone, he would want to replace Batman himself.
Anyway, all that aside, I just hope the book is readable again. Devin Grayson has long since killed it for me.

Jason as Nightwing? that'd be really random. But in the OYL Supergirl it says Powergirl and Supergirl team up to become the new Nightwing and Flamebird.
sigh........all this nonsense is hurting my head.

The images that some people are pointing to are:
Notice the Red Hood and Nightwing are holding the same knife. I don't think that Jason Todd will become Nightwing. It makes no sense. Two people holding the same knife doesn't mean that they are the same person. I think that Nightwing is going to go after the Red Hood and take him down, something Batman wouldn't do. Could make for a pretty cool story.
The Flamebird and Nightwing thing with Supergirl and Power Girl is just a tribute thing. In the Silver Age Superman and Jimmy Olsen were the caped crusaders of the bottle city of Kandor as Flamebird and Nightwing. In modern continuity Nightwing (Dick Grayson) got his name from a legendary Kryptonian crime fighter. Now Supergirl and Power Girl are going into Kandor (which in recent stories had some problems) to deal with stuff. It will probably be a cool story.
Things aren't as complicated as most people have made them out to be. Just buy your comics and read the stories. I don't think that they are going to stop the story without explaining where it is supposed to go. If you do get a good theory as to where things are going, share it. I like reading people's ideas about how things are going.
