Yup, its nice to have the figures, but these are slightly worse quality than something you'd find in a happy meal. Dont get me started on the Supergirl figure either...
He had put up 2 batmans, 3 crocs, 1 Bane w/ teddy, 2 Scarecrows.
And the comic that came with Croc had some pretty ugly drawings in it, IMO
I find them to be higher quality than the average Toy Biz figure. Toy Biz has made my *CENSORED* list from all the times I've bought figures that managed to break while still inside the package.
The art in the Dark Tomorrow comic was on the lousy side. That surprised me, considering who the artist was. Guess he phoned that one in, since it was originally just a videogame pack-in.
Well, the Dark Tomorrow game was pretty much phoned in. I don't think that I have played a worse game, ever. It is wierd that that is the comic with Croc. If I ever find a Batman I'll probably pick it up and see if I can make it look a little better. Most of the pictures I have seen show that the cape doesn't look right on the shoulders, and I would prefer to have the hands like Zip-Line Bats had instead of having the wrist joint. I can see some potential for it.
I have found all the other figures except Batman at Target. I found the shelf tags at Walmart, but no figures yet. I just wasn't amused with any of the other ones. The Croc can't hold a candle to the one that DC Direct put out a few months back. I just like the look of my Hush Scarecrow better than this one, and I couldn't get past the gapping of Bane's shirt at his waist. It stood out too much. I want to pick up the Knightfall Bane, which I think is supposed to come out next month.
Is Toy Fair next month? It seems like there is some kind of toy event coming up soon that should give Mattel the chance to show off the other waves of this line.
I have found some broken ML before, mystic fell apart on me, and Ive seen some horrible paint jobs on them...I still like the extra articulation and the display stands.
Out of all the figures in this Super hereo relaase (which oddly enough for the first time since Forever has Villians outnumbering Batman 3 to 1!) I think the Repaint of Croc is the best. I have been looking the figures over even more and the paint/sculpt of his face is awsome.
It is kind of a take on the version from BTAS, with a superb paint job, they painted some great reptillain eyes, and the mouth, gums, teath, are all detailed with paint perfectly. Even though he doesnt have the articulation they did an awsome job on making him look awsome, atleast his face this time.
I agree about Croc. Like DK, I prefer the Rogues Gallery Killer Croc that Dc Direct released a few months ago, and that's the one I have in my Batman display. But the Mattel Croc looked so great, I couldn't resist buying it. I always loved his animated design, and this looks like a comic-style rendition of it. It's such and improvement over the original figure release.
I hear ya about Bane, DK. I don't know what Mattel was thinking. I got my Bane from a friend in the UK, and I got lucky. My Bane's shirt doesn't stick up like some of the ones I've seen, it actually lays right on top of his belt, like it should. It's a great figure, and it's a lot cheaper than the Knightfall one will be.
I wasn't crazy about the Scarecrow when I first saw it, but when I actually got it in my hands, I really liked it. The articulation is great, and a lot of it is hidden by the sculpt. I have the Hush Scarecrow in my display, but I've grown to like the Mattel version just as much. I'm still waiting for a comic-style version of the Scarecrow based on the design from TNBA. That's the creepiest he's ever looked, without a doubt.

The last Batman I continuously hid on the top shelf at Wal Mart was still there last night, and after seeing FlaBat's review photos, I decided to see if this particular figure had the black on his upper cape that fades as it goes down. Surprisingly, this one didn't appear to have any black on his cape. I was pretty suprised, and annoyed. Aside from the wash, you wouldn't think their applications would differ so much from figure to figure. I'm gonna wait it our for a grey knee-pinned figure anyway. And hopefully find a reissued Bane with his teddy bear...
