someone mentioned my sayings of joker killing heath, and said something about chinese whispers. it's probably just a figure of speech that i don't know about. but i mean, we might as well call it korean whispers since i started it.

anyways...w/e.

I looked it up online, aparently Chinese Whispers is a game where you whisper a phrase to someone, and then that person whispers it to someone else, and they whisper it to someone else and so on and so on, but the phrase is retold by so many people that by the time it reaches the last person it's completely different from the original incarnation.

I don't think he even considered your Asian decent when he said that lol

They're doing tests. When we get the news from those we'll see if he had any drugs in his system, and probably find out if it was an overdose. If it wasn't that, it was probably the pnemonia.

As for the Lees, I thought Bruce Lee died from a brain anurism that was tha result of a bad rection to medication, and Brandon Lee died because the bullet that would eventually kill him got lodged in the barrel of a prop gun during slow-mo shooting.

Not in the slighest - I didnt actually know that - and I can promise no ill intent was meant. Categorically unequivably no way. Nothing annoys me more. With hindsight, it's probably not the best choice of phrases I've ever used & if it even sligthly came across as racial I'm really sorry.

It wasnt remotely you I was talking about Phil - you may have been the 1st person on this thread who mentioned what annoyed me - but all you did was mention it, not endorse it. The Joker killed Heath thing I'd heard before I'd even looked at BYTB last night.

My fiancee ran in from work and told me that Heath was dead. I told him he didn't know what he was talking about, but then I turned on the TV, and the anchor announced that Heath Ledger had been found dead, and I was in shock.

TDK was my fiancee's biggest concern, because of how anxious I am to see it, but that took a back seat for me to the fact that a 2 year old had forever lost her father, and she'll only remember him from family stories or the movies he starred in.

I'll support whatever decision is made in regards to The Joker for the next film. May Heath rest in peace.

there is no race thing, don't worry about it. someone's been playing Chinese whispers with this race issue that doesn't exist. lol.

when i told my friends about his death, they would ask "did they finish filming TDK?", and that's the feeling most people get. is that normal, or messed up?

An update for y'all, Heath Ledger's funeral will be held in private at an undisclosed location at an undisclosed date so as to keep paparazzi and Fred Phelps' skinhead cult protest out.

I don't think she's made one, I saw one report saying she was devestated and that was about it.

The one thing that bothers me in all this is that the Mary Kate Olsen got 3 Phone Calls BEFORE they called 911. Yeah, I know when I’m dying I want Mary Late Olsen called before the paramedics that might save my life!

Granted, Heath may have been gone already, but why call anybody BEFORE you call for help? Are people really that stupid?

A few years ago my in-laws were visiting. My father in-law likes to go for walks, and when he came back from one he did not look good. Nor, did he feel good, but he insisted he was all right, just winded. Now, I’m no doctor, but I looked him over and watched his muscle movement on one side and I determined he had a TIA or some form of Stroke and I called 911 even though he insisted he was all right. He did in fact have something hit him and ended up getting a pacemaker while he was here. If I can call 911 first, so can everybody else.

That's sort of the saddest thing of this situation, if that massuse had called 911 ASAP he might have lived...

When the massuse found Heath unconcious and unresponsive she called Mary-Kate Olsen three times. Olsen then sent her personal bodygaurds to the appartment to take care of him, but when they couldn't do anything 911 was called. Mary-Kate is apparently devistated by his death.

On a more optimistic note, Christopher Nolan has written a very, very moving tribute to Heath. Here it is on newsweek.
