if a jason todd story came into TB, i wud want dick to be nightwing and jason as the 1st robin. n then have him die and get tim as the new robin...somehow...maybe being friends with jason?

and HUSH is now one of my favorite villians, so i really wanna see him too.

I hope they keep the bandage look for Hush, Jeff Matsuda has kept most of the signature elements for each character.

Hush would make an awesome DTV, but maybe a story arc? The Batman hasn't had any story arcs so far except for the Clayface story and that wasn't really a story arc techincally. I mean stand alone episodes are nice, but a story arc would be nice here and there.

if hush was ever to be in TB, there wud have to be a story arc. one episode is not enough. but a dtv...thats a different story.

I'd prefer a DTV for the obvious reasons, but a story arc of any kind I wouldn't mind.

I can?t see a Robin of any kind being introduced on The Batman anytime soon. I think we all know that Dick, Jason, Tim and Stephanie (in that order) will all be Robin at some point, but does The Batman have to stick to the same timeline as BTAS and TNBA.

No, it doesn?t. The Batman can be just what it is another interpretation of Batman, not unlike Batman Beyond.

People seem to forget that the fans hatred Jason Todd. The fans voted to have him killed off. For a dead guy he sure gets around a lot lately. Although I thought Tommy Elliot was Hush, and not Jason Todd. Clayface appeared, as Jason Todd as Hush, but it was not Jason.

I kind of like the new spin on the older characters that The Batman has, at least some of it.

I'm starting to see your point. Batman and Batgirl seem more....better since, if you know the whole history of Batman and Robin, you'll know that they were thought of being gay. But they're obiviously not. Bruce Timm said in a interview that he wanted Batman to be a loner in his show and only have Robin once in a while as a plan until the final episodes of BTAS.

Batman and Batgirl does seem to work and they're more profitable since Batgirl is popular along with other female characters from not just Batman but other DC works as well.

if TB had no robin, then no kids wud like the show...well they like it as it is, but if there was robin to pull off a few jokes here and there, then theyd like it even more. cuz i remember watching BTAS as a kid and the only episodes i liked were the ones with robin. but now my tastes are a little different and i like all of them. i still remember what robin sed in night of the ninja.

robin:[imitating batman's voice] thanks for saving my bacon robin.

haha..yea..and since TB is aimed torwards kids, robin wud be perfect for the show. it doesnt matter if its dick, jason, or tim. but no stephanie, theres alredy batgirl to attract the girls.

im not sure because robin was there to make batman a lighter character but the batman is already light enough. adding robin would just make it worse. batman and batgril seems to have more of a flow to it. batgirl will bring in more girl fans which is a good thing cause, well wouldnt be great to know a girl who loves batman?? i knew one once but she movedsad...

but thats another story. i think the batman will handle batgirl quite well and people will grow to like the barbara batgirl more or even as much as cassandra. we'll just find a out in 2 days and a month (i know im counting down.)

yeah but dont you think a girl would make it lighter? think about it this bat girl is young and she throw conry lines left and right during a fight also out of it she can act real girly about make up and other things. plus i think robin can be made into a dark character, his costume can be made to look cool, i mean look at phil's sig thats an awesome robin and if he looked like that it would be awesome! and he can be just as tough as batman.

I'm definately in favor of Batgirl only, no Robin, none of them. Maybe if they did like an episode where Batman went into an alternate timeline or something then maybe we could get a Robin cameo. Maybe in a DTV or something. But I like the idea of Batgirl being the main sidekick in this series, no Robin for now.::batgirl::

Ever since the TT show began I've liked Robin as a leader and team mate as opposed to a sidekick. I know he's been a leader before in the comics, but it wasn't until the show where I was like "Hey, I like him as his own character"

But my hope is that Batgirl won't lighten things up too much. My hope is that she won't be involved all the time ya know. I mean Batgirl around all the time is great, but I hope that in some episodes she'll be on the side, kinda like Yin and Alfred. At the same time I hope she gets the occaisonal episode to herself.

Basically I hope there's enough balance between Batman w/Batgirl, Batman alone, and Batgirl alone.

The show is already ona serious and about to go in a serious dark path. I guess once TT ends, and Grayson comes to TB (after saying that TT and TB are connected) he can be Nightwing.

hmm thats what im thinking. with TB, i hope they skip grayson as robin and just go to nightwing cuz we've already seen THAT robin in TT. and since tim looks up to dick as a brother, it wud be easy for him to know that hes nightwing and then somehow get into the crime fighting bussiness. then there wud be batman, robin(my sig), nightwing, n batgirl.

and its almost like theyre all loners, but they happen to work at the same city. cuz none of them live with each other. lol. am i right? that way there wud be no sidekicks or anything. there wud just be 4 heroes working together.

i think it cud still be a dark series. even with robin. and juss make it darker like the comics. have tim's girlfriend and dad die to give him more reasons to fight crime. or put those deaths before he becomes robin.

no, although the batman has changed some things, skipping from robin to nightwing is a bad idea. robin is a crucial part of dick grayson's life. if you take that away there is no robin.

have you ever read the current batgirl comics?? they are really dark. seriously though, not a all girls are like that. they're not all preps and stuff. from everything that has been mentioned about batgirl, she sounds a lot like nightwing.

oh and teen titans and the batman are not in the same universe! that was just a joke that beyond(i think) made on april's fool. teen titans and the batman are different versions of the same chracters. just like jlu and teen titans and the batman are all different versions of the same characters. the animation is different in every single one of those shows. teen titans is anime, jlu is normal, and the batman is a combination. this is starting to sound like something from tv.com, which have really, really bad forumsmad
