a song would be cool but it'd be cool to make it like dark rock

I'd love a new song. A rock song sounds perfect, I loved the theme song by Edge and all the rest of the music I've loved, so hopefully it will have a cool theme.

IF there is a song for it, lets hope it fits well with the movie. i herd itll be as dark as BTAS. that sounds really good...TB's art and animation with BTAS's darkness.

hmmm any thoughts for bands to sing the song?? i like boulevard of broken dreams by green day and it kinda matches batman. if they recorded a new song for TBVD, im sure it wud be pretty awesome. any other thoughts?? cuz greenday duznt really match batman.

It could actually help the sales. Some people are waiting to see it on CN before buying it. If they like it, they will run out and buy it.

I think it's a good move

::bbbruce:: - I don't have the DVD yet, but I watched the Cartoon Network version of the movie 2nite...didn't know it was on, I almost missed it.

Although the movie was good, I saw nothing earth shattering about it. Perhaps CN watered it down for TV...I don't know yet. One thing that I didn't like...we now have a 2 hour "PENGUIN" episode. meh. The Penguin appearence in this episode was totally not needed. He was always a "5th wheel" in this movie in my opinion.

I rate the movie a 7/10

i probably liked the movie because of all the action. the action was so good, it kinda out weighed the bad parts of the movie. lol. yeah..it probably wudda been better without penguin, but oh well.

and the action scenes were fricking amazing!!! i loved the part when he fights all the "lost ones." ONE MAN ARMY!!! lol. theres this one part where this giant fat guy runs for batman and then he flips like 10 feet in the air and goes behind him and strikes him with the antidote thing. awww..it was so cool. lol. it was very unrealistic, but it was too cool for me to care.

Just saw it for the first time tonight as well. I thought it was a little humor heavy, with Penguin and Joker. Considering the dark themes, the humor just seemed to stand out so much and throw the seriousness off a little, but it wasn't terrible. And I really loved Alfred's humor, it seemed perfect where it was. I too was just sick when I realized Penguin was gonna play a big part in the whole movie.

There were a few really unrealistic parts too, but that's how it goes a lot of the time anyway. I noticed the blood was usually black with just a hint of red here and there, but it was still really cool to even see blood in The Batman, and police firing real ammunition at Batman. That scene reminded me of Year One a bit.

I loved the ending, with Batman spreading his cape and delivering the final blow. Really helped make for a great closing. I'll pick this up on DVD eventually, it's worth it.

i really enjoyed this movie. i actually like Penguin in this episode. he fit the role he was supposed to play, Remfield (sp?). i didnt find the humor quirks unnecesary, i thought it was just right. my favorite is when Joker turned up and made the cooment of being back from the dead and Penguib relied "yeh, seems to be alot of that going around." i actually laughed. the vampire Joker was very creepy, and the blood bank scene was gross but not overdone. i thought Draculas emergence into society was kind of rushed. thats my only gripe with this DTV, as it is with all of them, they just feel kind of rushed. i wish they would take a little extra time and make these at least a hour and a half. i think the extra 15 minutes could have made this even better. another part that i really liked was the Batman chase. it very much like year one.

i give this a 9 out of 10. well done.

heres my review
Ok batman vs Dracula, first of all just the source material makes it interesting, but the people behind this movie thought that the two worst TB people had to be in it.....joker and penguin! this made me flinch a couple of times due to penguins annoying laugh and voice and attitude. But on the other hand the animation was great, the action was greatly revamped(favorite fight batman vs lost ones) Dracula was drawn exceptionally well and they got rid of the cliche accent which was GREEEEAT! i cant stress how happy this made me enough. Also it was cool to see our hero actually not be able to take someone on! he got beat pretty bad both confrontations with dracula, winning the last fight only because of that new WE solar gadget. The story got darker but every time it seemed to get REALLY dark it was lightened down by some corny remark from penguin or joker.(joker drinking the blood in the blood bank....looks dark...all of a sudden he says the taste of oak and some other thing and then burps quite cartoonishly....ruining that great scene. dracula schemeing about capturing vicki then penguin goes nice jugulars....things like that) although that was redeemed by great action and a great story i give it an 8.5/10 and worthy of being added to any bat fans collection!

::bbbruce:: - I noticed something else...Whoever was responsible for the content of this movie obviously watched: "Fright Night" and "Blade"...as there were ideas borrowed from both movies.

i see your point beyond, it might help those on the fence about buying it making their decison to do so. as for me liek i said, i cant quite fit it into my budget so this worked out nicely.

and i actually like dthis movie, i thought it was done well. i was wondering if itd be corny since the series in general is quite a bit lighter than its predecessor, but it was at the right tone for most of the time in my opinion. like cale, i felt there was too much humor with joker and penguin and i think there was only a little bit of that humor that was good. not a big penguin fan, but i guess if they needed a bumbling assistant for the good count, he was the ideal choice.

i can understand if this was to take place sometime before gordon and barbara are introduced to the series, but i was wondering what happened to det. Yin?? did something happen to her on the show, or is there no explanation for her abscence? i have not followed the show at all passed the last season so im pretty much in the dark about it.

For some reason I guess they don't always put characters in movies, like MOTP, no Robin.
