I have never heard that rumor. Yes they are making DTV DVDs, Death of Superman, Teen Titans: Judas Contract and New Frontier, but those won't replace what they have on TV, they are seperate.

Yeah, Direct-to-Video films can't replace the advertising dollars and merchandising that comes with a weekly television show. This is a separate market that Marvel has already been successful in with the Avengers and Iron Man videos. It's about time that DC catches up. I've been noticing for a while now that Marvel is really overshadowing DC with movies, merchandising, etc. The fact that DC does have the television edge on Marvel (TB, LSH, Smallville, Krypto) is all the more reason that these shows aren't going anywhere. Marvel is certainly making more at the box office though. We DC fans have Batman, Superman and a lot of stuff that's been trying to get off the ground for years. The Marvel movie fans have Spider-Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider, Punsher, Hulk, Daredevil, Iron Man, and many more that will make it to the screen to varying degrees of success. Maybe it's the fear of another Superman lll and lV or Batman and Robin, but give us something. |

I thought The Episode was Awesome, I really did enjoy it, I really did like The Scene where Batman is trying to get into Wayne Industries, without nobody seeing him, and I also liked seeing The Justice League, at the end of the Episode, I can't wait to see Next Season, it is going to be great. |

The 2-parter was pretty good despite the corny alien attack theme...its been done. The end was worth the wait.
