Cool,
I just hope they don't get too far away from Batman's roots....

I wonder if its going to be like Smallville. Where Batman meets the other superheroes that exist besides him, feels at first that joining them in a team isn't needed for him because of his business in Gotham, but as the show continues he starts to realize that he could do more to the world just like he does in Gotham. Thus at the end of the season, he considers Superman's offer (I'm saying this under the idea that it is Superman who considers a team) and thus the JLA is born.

I'd like to see the Teen Titans appear for Robin. And I want to see Slade fight Batman. |

that would be the ultimate episode. and instead of using the team they used for the cartoon, i would have it be robin, speedy, aqualad, kidflash, and wondergirl. oh man, that would be soooo cool. but i doubt it.

New news on The Batman:
In case you didn't know already: Superman will appear in the two-part season premiere. With George Newbern, Dana Delaney and Clancy Brown reprising their roles as Superman, Lois, & Luthor.
There will be many other guest-voices in the fifth season of The Batman, including some actors who have never done voice work before.
And a 90-minute panel devoted to The Batman and Legion of Super Heroes will take place on Friday, July 27 at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

At least it won't be John Stewart. I also have a few more ?'s about The Batman season 5.
1. Which Flash it will be? Barry, Wally, or Bart?
2. Which Hawkman it will be? Carter Hall or Katar Hol.
3. Which Aquaman will be featured? The classic Aquaman(orange and green unitard with green gloves), the god-awful Peter David version(scraggy beard, a hook where his hand used to be and the really bad attitude) or the new version?(Arthur Joseph Curry)

in the episode The Joining (kinda obvious name ) pt 1 and 2 Martianman Hunter was by his side throughout the episodes and then he asked if he wanted to expand his circle. "I dont need more acomplices" said Batman but then they went to the JL space station and he joined it, and now they have a few videos bout Season 5, just searh "The Batman Season 5" and they have a lot. The Next episode, The Continuum pt. 1, is to be aired on the 22nd of Sept. i think.

Here's the offical PR:

The Batman (11:30 a.m.)
Four-time Emmy Award winner The Batman will focus its new season on the introduction of Batmans Justice League peers. Expect amped-up action and heightened stakes as Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter and several others work in concert with Batman and even more of his amazing technological wonders to defend Gotham from a seemingly never-ending roster of super villains. The usual suspects return with nefarious new schemes and more sophisticated gadgetry as the Joker, Penguin, Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze are joined in their quest to rid Gotham of any nocturnal winged creatures by the likes of Sinestro, Scarface, Mirror Master, Metallo, Clayface and even Lex Luthor, who enlists Poison Ivy and her enchanting spores to turn Superman against Batman in the two-part season premiere. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The series is rated TV-Y7 FV (fantasy violence).

John Larroquette is providing the voice of Mirror Master in the upcoming season of Kids' WB!'s The Batman.
Larroquette, 59, is perhaps best known as Asst. D.A. Dan Fielding in Night Court from 1984-92. He also starred in The John Larroquette Show from 1993-96. More recently, he appeared in Boston Legal.
The Mirror Master appears in an episode featuring The Flash.
"He uses mirrors in a way that I don't think has been used in animation so far," The Batman producer Alan Burnett said. "There's a point in which you wonder if Gotham's going to survive this guy.
"He's a supercilous sort of guy, very snobby. He's got a great costume that they've made for him for the show."
It's never revealed which version of The Flash is used, but Burnett said it's Barry Allen.
"It's a young Flash, and I grew up on Barry Allen," Burnett said. "We never take the mask off him, so all you Wally West fans can pretend it's Wally West."
The Flash episode is written by The Batman veteran Steve Melching, who also wrote for the second season of Legion of Super Heroes.

i'm really hoping for tim drake to come. not a jason todd/tim drake amalgan like in TNBA, but a REAL tim drake. that would be so cool. but i think TB will end after this season.
if there were to be at least one more season, i would pray for another future episode where there is both nightwing and robin(tim drake).

Standing tall after claiming its fourth Daytime Emmy Award, ³The Batman² will set the bar even higher as it steps up the action in its new fifth season with the much-anticipated introduction of the Justice League, an array of new and/or improved villains, a sparkling arsenal of breakthrough technological support, and a voice cast packed with actors from feature films and primetime television, not to mention some of the finest voice performers on the planet.
"The Batman" premieres September 22 at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT as part of the Kids' WB! Lineup on The CW Network. Entitled "The Batman/Superman Story," the two-part season premiere (the finale airing on Sept. 29) finds Lex Luthor joining forces with Gotham City's rogues gallery to finally defeat the Man of Steel -- but he doesn't count on Batman and Robin coming to the rescue.
When we last left Batman, the Martian Manhunter had just proposed the Dark Knight join the ranks of the Justice League. It doesnıt take long to learn Batmanıs answer as Superman sparks a ³Worldıs Finest² tale in the thrilling, two-part season opener.
Over the course of the new season, several of the Justice Leagueıs key
players Green Lantern, The Flash, Green Arrow, Hawkman and Martain
Manhunter will stand cape-to-cape with Batman in defense of Gotham City and beyond.
Last seasonıs character arc gave Batman greater insight into the virtues of teamwork, and heıll continue to embrace the contributions of Robin and Batgirl, as well as occasional help from Lucius Fox and Nightwing. This is truly a season of team-ups, whether it be Batman and his trusted family, or the Dark Knight uniting with fellow members of the Justice League.
Of course, the JL heroes and their new recruit wonıt be alone in their
pursuit of villainy theyıll be well-armed by the Batmanıs never-ending
array of technological wonders. ³Shadow-Tek² takes center-stage throughout the 2007-08 campaign, bringing a new level of ³Oh, I want that² wishes in living rooms across the land. Itıs like Christmas came to the Batcave during the off season as the ³toys² roll out of Batmanıs significant arsenal, ranging from an all-new Batarang, to jet packs, to an incredible criminal assault suit.
Every hero is only as good as his opposition is evil and Gotham never runs out of baddies. The usual suspects return with nefarious new schemes and more sophisticated gadgetry as the Joker, Penguin, Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze are joined in their quest to rid Gotham of any nocturnal winged creatures by the likes of Sinestro, Black Mask, Scarface, Count Vertigo, Toyman, Mirror Master, Metallo,Clayface, Mercy and a new, improved Firefly-turned-Phosphorus. Lex Luthor even makes an appearance in NYCıs alter-ego, enlisting Poison Ivy and her enchanting spores to turn Superman against Batman.
Speaking of alter-egos, every great animated character is backed by an
outstanding voice and this seasonıs Batman cast rivals all others. Veteran voice actor Rino Romano returns as the pipes of the Caped Crusader, and his supporting cast includes stars from every corner of the entertainment spectrum. Feature film actors Louis Gossett Jr. (³An Officer and a Gentleman²), George Newbern (³Father of the Bride²), Dorian Harewood (³Full Metal Jacket²) and Daryl Sabara (³Spy Kids²) fill several key roles. Primetime television provides a host of voices including Dana Delaney (³China Beach²), Clancy Brown (³Carnivale²), James Remar (³Dexter²), Miguel Ferrer (³Crossing Jordan²), Gwendoline Yeo (³Desperate Housewives²), Jerry OıConnell (³Crossing Jordan²), Peter MacNichol (³24²), John Laroquette (³Night Court²), Patton Oswalt (³The King of Queens²), Mitch Pileggi (³The X-Files²), Diedrich Bader (³The Drew Carey Show²) and Chris Hardwick (³Singled Out²). And Hollywoodıs esteemed voice acting community is well represented by some of the finest in the business, ranging from Dan Castellaneta, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey Delisle and Tom Kenny to Hynden Walch, Jason Marsden and Charlie Schlatter.
Itıs a season of non-stop action with new heroes, villains,
technologically-advanced ³toys² and all-star talent. Somebody had better start polishing another Emmy.
