No offense, but IMO, Batman is better off alone. And when I mean alone, I mean no sidekicks. That means no Robin, no Batgirl, or whatsoever. This is the reason Chrtopher Nolan restarted the Bat-franchise. Because the last two Bat-Movies sucked(and no offense to anyone who like them here). Maybe it would be alot better if Robin had his own movie, and maybe Batgirl aswell. *jlbatman*
I already have a father. His name is Bruce Wayne!

You're forgetting the history of the character. I liked Batman Forever (and I hated B&R). But the reason I liked it was because it was fresh. A new interpretation of the character and it worked in 1995. In 2006, Batman has evolved yet again. It would be very easy to live in 1966 and say "Batman sucks, he's a cheesy character w/ colorful villains" but that idea changed in the late 70's.
Robin has been, and always will be, part of the mythology. So the challenge is not to eliminate him, but to find how he too can be reinterpreted for 2006. |

Gotta disagree. He's part of the story. In fact, he belongs much more so than Batgirl does. And....TB is intended for a younger audience. If there was no TT, better believe Robin would be in there. |

I think the real reason they made Robin a serious character in TT was because he was the main man, he couldn't be the happy go-lucky one of the bunch.
I wonder if Robin will have the flesh of his legs showing in TB.

i really hope not. although robin wont be the main man, why cant robin just be a really cool supporting character? lol. i think he should be like the TT robin, except with a better voice. his voice bothered me so much in TT; i liked the voice in BTAS, i think it was loren lester.

I agree. Robin very much does belong there more than Batgirl does, since technically, Batgirl should have come third.
But, I like the fact that Batgirl came before Robin here, only because it will mean that there will be a totally different dynamic coming into play this time around.
Don't know if anyone's told you yet...I'm the bad one. |

im pretty sure robin will have some sort of pants if its shorts or pants. cuz just underwear is a little queer and unusual, lol. but im sure they will try to change it to be different from the TT robin cuz this robin is definetely not the same one.

I actually think they're trying to tie Teen Titans under the Dini/Timmverse Batman, apparently by explaining that Teen Titans happened before Robin's first appearance in Batman: TAS or something.

Maybe, but I doubt it. I think Teen Titans should be a show all on its own, like The Batman.
I said it once and I'll say it again (well actually I've never said it but anyway): Bring on The Robin!

::bbbruce:: - The Teen Titans is a show all its own isn't it?
I've seen so many paradox's between it and other Batman toons, its ridiculous.
