It looked to me like she figured it out. That could have been me just reading too much into a couple of panels. We'll find out in a week or so.

Yeh I do agree it looks as if Montoya might of figured it out but that sucks the VERY FIRST appreance n she figures out Batwomans Identity sad
Thats sad

52 continues to make me happy. I think its the character interactions that really do it, especially seeing as there hasn't been tons of action. I had some doubts about this series, but so far it's been very good.

And the way they keep adding layers to the mysteries makes it more interesting, its actually quite fun to see what happens. Rarely are there times when I actually start making theories and predicitons in comics.

What happened to Magnus tho? Why is he all skinny and stuff in week 14?

Anyone else been getting impatient for this:

52 has been good, but I need a little Batman in a story to make it really good.

Definitely looking forward to it. 52 has surprised me a bit, I thought it was going to have more of the "big three" in their time away. Still, I've been enjoying it, and it's helping me increase my knowledge of some of the lesser-known DC characters (I'm finding myself looking up some of their more offbeat characters and references).

Fanfare Sports and Entertainment has started selling cover art to a 52 Novelization by J G Jones, cover artist for all issues of 52.

There has been no announcement from any publishers, but I will do some digging around with some of the publishers of previous DC adaptions, and let you know as soon as I find out something.

To tide you over here is the cover image.

Theer was an interview with Geoff Johns, and he mentions the page in Justice Society of America #1. And if you didn't read that issue, why not? Anyway, he mentions that that page is from 52 and reveals a little secret as to what the series is leading to (52 series).

I won't mwention it here. If you want to read it, go to Newsarama. Its the third part of the talk to Geoff Johns on Justice Society of America #1.

You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

For those of us who don't have time to dig around too deeply on Newsarama, and lack the budget to add JSA to their pull lists, could you please post whatever it is in JSA #1 that pertains to 52 here with some spoiler warnings around it?

I've been loving this series, though naturally, some of the plots interest me more than others. About the only thing holding my interest in the "lost in space" story is Animal Man, and the addition of Lobo helped. The storylines with the Question and the whole Skeets thing are my favorites. I'm dying to know exactly what the hell Skeets is up to. Last month's scene with Skeets and Waverider: CHILLING.
If they let the Question die, though, there's gonna be some righteous hell-raising.

Yeah, those Charleton characters are not the most popular character, but they are really cool and deserve to stick around permenantly.

If you buy one issue of 52, you need to buy 52 #30. The story hits on what has happened with Bruce, Dick, and Tim over the past six months. It also shows what has been truly breaking the Batman.

The story is the death of Batman and it does not disappoint. The only downside is that after I finished the issue, I went on to read the main Bat-stories where everything has worked out and Bruce is back in the suit. It kinda messes up the ending of 52, but I look foward to what they show of the journey.

The Charlton characters have been getting massacred almost as badly as the Giffen/DeMatteis era JLA characters lately. Blue Beetle and Peacemaker were killed during Infinite Crisis. Captain Atom has apparently gone rogue, what with donning the armor of Monarch and destroying what was left of Bludhaven. Now, this with the Question, who is undoubtedly my favorite of the bunch. At least Nightshade is doing okay in Shadowpact.

By the way, anybody who enjoys Batman comics should check out the excellent O'Neil/Cowan series The Question from the late '80s. You owe it to yourself!

For those that didn't manage to pick up JSA #1 The 52 spoiler referred to in Justice Society #1 is

***SPOILERS AHEAD (highlight to read better)***

the World War III

***End Spoilers***

that has already been said is coming in a couple of issues of 52. Nothing is mentioned about the cause or the results.

By the way it was announced that in a few weeks an issue so big will be coming around that will take up the space usually used for the origin stories. Sounds pretty cool.

World War 3 should be interesting.

Lets see we've got:

-Intergang trying to take over Gotham, using kidnapped evil geniuses to make crazy weapons

-Lady Styx's Stygian Passover nonsense, I'm assuming Earth is somehwere on her agenda

-The Freedom of Power Treaty being accepted by everyone, but Black Adam backing down from it

-China making an army via super-pregnant lady

-Lex Luthor giving just about everyone super powers who wants them (maybe he's making an army?)

Sounds like it should be a very interesting war indeed. I wonder if this World War 3 is the big even DC says is coming up, or if it'll be something else.

Geoff Johns referenced World War III in JSA #1, and stated that it will occur toward the end of 52, about issue #50. Apparently, it's what the series is building toward.

Rumors abound of a follow-up weekly series, with Paul Dini involved as a writer. If true, I hope it maintains the same quality as this series.

Soooooooooo Stygian Passover and Everyman Project are kinda......out of the loop for WW3 (Styx is temporarily dead, and every everyman except Infinity Inc. is kinda...powerless or dead)

Does anyone else think the Question literally dying right in front of our eyes is just a red herring, and he's not going to be one of the ones who dies at all?

Speaking of death.....we got our first major one to a main player since Booster Gold. Although Justice League sorta hinted at it, I wasn't expecting this guy to die. (don't wanna spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it)

I really wonder how Batwoman, Supernova, and Isis are going to make it out of 52 since the other two characters from the first series of 52 figures have died (Animal Man, most recently).

Granted Booster and Animal Man are the only established characters from that figure series, but it is a little suspicious.

CLICK HERE to check out the Amazon.com listing for the 52 novelization. The listing shows a color image of the cover and a release date of July 3, 2007. Clocking in at 320 pages this thing ought to give a pretty good telling of the whole series.
