I usually get pretty standard deals on Ebay, but there have been a few that were very good on my end. I won a complete run of Dc's excellent Starman series and the related specials and miniseries, with a couple of the issues autographed, for under $100, which is a very good price. Even buying the trades-- which don't reprint all the issues-- would cost more. A few years back, I scored a vintage Masters of the Universe Sorceress for about $20. This is one of the rarest figures from the original MOTU line, and sells for over $50 on Ebay all the time. I lucked out because the seller spelled "Sorceress" incorrectly when he listed the figure. I usually check a few common incorrect spellings when I search for something on Ebay, and this time it resulted in me getting a really good deal. Another great MOTU deal I got was when I bought an Evil-Lyn bust. I paid about $35, including the shipping. The thing retails for $40, so that was a good deal in itself. But when it arrived, I had not gotten the standard version of the bust, but the limited classic-style edition that was limited to 500 pieces! I thought the guy might have sent me the limited edition bust by mistake, so I emailed him about it. He said that was the only bust he had for sale, so it was no mistake. This thing sells for a lot more than that, so it was a pretty great deal.
Probably the best deal I ever got on Ebay was pure blind luck. About 8 years ago, I bought a lot of Batman comics from the '70s and early '80s for about $5. When they arrived, I was astonished to see that one of them was Batman #234, the first Silver Age appearance of Two-Face! This is one of the classic O'Neil/Adams issues, one of the most fondly remembered of the era. A bit of background: when the Comics Code Authority was created in the mid-'50s, Two-Face was one of the characters deemed too grotesque to appear in the comics DC was publishing. So the character simply vanished, until he turned up in Batman #234 nearly 20 years later. The issue is worth a few hundred dollars, so this was just an amazing stroke of luck.

I get some good deals on comics, but my best & luckiest find was actually a Transformers figure. I was able to get a near-mint Bumblejumper/Bumper a few years back for $6 shipped (typical going rate for it is usually $50 - $90) thanks to a mislabelled auction listing. He's one of my favorite Minibot designs, so I was really happy with that one.
