We understand you're upset because most people aren't up to your standards but from the way the responses were, the majority of us disagreed with your statement.
Oh and to just throw this out there...when Christopher Nolan was doing Batman Begins, he said these exact words during an interview.
"I'm a fan of the Batman character but I am no means a comic book expert."
So...by your definition, Christopher Nolan was NOT a true fan when he was making Begins.
The only thing stopping you from success is doubt.

Okay okay. Not a true fan but you can still be a fan. There is just alot that divides the two. But that is what a director is, a person who a adopts a character and make it their own so anyways I am glad this thread got to four pages this is my longest thread yet!
