Warner Home Video held an online question forum via Home Theater Forum yesterday, and the following questions regarding Superman related DVD releases were asked and answered...

A bit from the Q&A:
Q: Are there any plans for season sets of "World's Greatest Superfreinds", "Super Friends - Galactic Guardians", Filmation's animated Aquaman series and Filmation's 1960's animated Batman series? Also the Suprefirends "Lost shorts" from 1980-193?...Much thanks for the upcoming Filmation's Superman, Filmation's (1977) Batman, and Super Friends: Legendary Super Power Show.
Warner Bros: Galactic Guardians and Aquaman are coming out in 07. New Adventures of Batman is coming out in 2007. Super Friends: Legendary Super Power Show is being released in 2007. The rest are being evaluated.

Q: I'm excited for the upcoming Superman: Doomsday and The New Frontier. I've seen that Doomsday will be in a style close to the Timm-verse shows. I heard before that the movies would mostly be in the style of their comic book counterparts i.e. New Frontier- cooke, Judas- Perez. Is this the case? And will future DC animated movies be of specific storylines and in their art styles?

Warner Bros: Re: Superman: Doomsday and The New Frontier - both story lines are inspired by the best selling graphic novels. You'll find that the New Frontier's creative look will mirror the graphic novel more closely.

Q: Hi, are there any plans of releasing the second season of Superboy?

Warner Bros: No plans at this time for Superboy.

The thing is.. most of the talk was "No Plans Yet" things that tick me off.. Static Shock.. they said the 5 Ep release didn't sale well.. well, most 4/5 ep DVDs don't.

Shows like Knots Landing and Falcon Crest, though I'm not a BIG fan of em.. they were super popular, but no plans..

Family Matters, Step By Step.. No plans.. I mean.. wow.. they don't plan on releasing alot...

But still they wonder why bootleg DVDs are so popular. Yes, there are going to be people that pirate them regardless, but I've gotten the impression that a lot of the market comes from frustrated fans just trying to get a copy of their favorite show.

I didn't read the whole thing but it was like WB was just recycling the same answers over and over again.

"We'll consider it"
"No plans for it yet"

How are they only considering Step by Step or Family Matters and all those early 90s show that made TGIF?

I've got a couple of questions about the Ultimate Man Of Steel boxset I'd have asked! They're a bunch of blinkin' Idiots!
