Some subtle modifications to Corgi's Batmobile to make it look like the blue-striped version of the car from '48:

In addition to the repainted and chrome trimmed stripes stripes, I added taillights, a fuel cap, vent windows, and a new windshield divider. I also redid the interior in blue & black with a three-on-the-tree and flocked floor & parcel shelf.

Thanks! A full-size Batmobile would be cool, but I know I'd just keep coming back to how many models I could've bought with the money Smile

I really like the metallic blue stripes. I can't even see most of those tedious modifications you made, but I always admire that attention to detail, even if the creator is the only one to really know of them. Great work.

...Were you wearing a derby when you took that photo? Smile

Thanks. Heh, it does look like a hat, doesn't it? I hadn't noticed that before, not sure what it is. I'm still trying to improve my photography skills, all these black cars are murder to try to shoot.

Yeah, most tof the detail work disappears in the final model. In part, that's my goal...it wouldn't have looked right if I had left the bright red interior after painting the metallic blue stripes, but once they match then nothing stands out as being different. The rest of the mods were to make it more accurate (i.e., pretty much every car had vent windows in the '40s).
