in my principles of art and design class, our assignment was to create some sort of structure using only paper with a grid system. it was...interesting to say the least. VERY frustrating. i mean last semester, we messed around with values, colors, tints, shades, hues, saturation, etc...all 2D mechanics. and the right off the bat, our first assignment for 2nd semester is this wild 3D project. we went from design to like..architecture.
anywho.. i was so worried about it, i spent all of last wednesday working on it. during our given studio time, i was already done. haha, so that's when i threw in batman, robin, and the batmobile. lol.
thinking on a 3-dimensional level is so intense. using this grid system forces the issue.
by the way, i go to virginia tech! any kids looking into art schools, you might wanna apply to tech. we don't have the greatest art program, but we have a really cool faculty, and lots of cool students. it's fairly competitive, but i get by.

That's just awesome
Very art-deco. Reminds me of BTAS a lot, but with more of an edge to it (papercut puns not intendid)
