Very cool, but they could have done a wider-shot of it. The focus is very close-up leaving for very little space to put everything in.

I would seek justice...
I would have my revenge...

Well... DC.com says March 15th, but it seems like every issue was about a month late. So, there really isn't much saying. Keep an eye on the comics board or the comics on sale this week panel. I try to keep that as accurate as possible by going from the Diamond ship list. It is more accurate than DC.com.

Oh man, I wanted to post this.

Since they released this 6 page foldout, thats enough to say they're gonna release it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gotten it.

You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

I thought the Frank Miller's: The Dark Knight Returns, Battank and issues was considered a Elseworlds non-continuity story...:lol::lol:

Nope, all of Frank Miller's Batman stuff takes place in the same continuity. Year One also takes place in the main DCU continuity, though.

No wonder this issue is late. I hate to think of all the work that Jim Lee had to put into this. I'm not sure exactly why there are historic suits of armor displayed in the cave, unless Miller's Batman had a couple of Roman Centurian sidekicks we never heard about until now. This rivals the excellent Batcave poster Phil Jiminez did about 8 years ago, which I have on my wall. I like that the "Batmobile ferris wheel," previously seen in "Hush," reappears here. I think it'll be worth it to get this issue just to remove this foldout and hang it on the wall.

That's pretty cool, I like the wide shots Lee does. The suits of armor are a neat addition, they remind me of the armory scene from the first movie. I like the robotic workers building the various gadgets, too. What's on the far right side, just beyond the stairs? It looks like a temple.

"Ferris Wheel" sounds a lot better than what I have been calling it, the "hot dog carousel." big grin

Looks like the bat-computer to me. After the cave was rebuilt when NML ended, the bat-comuputer had screens all around and a batman-head shaped big screen.
