Big week with lots of stuff.
Legends of the Dark Knight #200

A nice one issue story to commemorate the longest running Batman title created post-Crisis. Sounds like a great story where Batman must keep the Joker alive or Gotham is doomed.
The Batman Strikes #18

Batgirl makes her debut in the comic version of the tv show. Cover would make a nice wallpaper for fans of the show.
Green Arrow #59

Take the synopsis listed with a grain of salt. From what I have read the writer has gone into a different story to fit in with next months year jump.
Hawkman #49

The consequences of the Rann/Thanagar War are felt by Hawkman and Hawkgirl. See how these two heroes cope with the end of the universe looming.
JLA #125

The end of the Justice League is here. This hurts a little since I have been picking this title up since the beginning. See how the League totally breaks apart. As a bonus Green Arrow forces Batman to try one of his new chocolate arrows.
Jonah Hex #4

Okay, so they made a new Jonah Hex series. Personally it think it is so the guy that writes the synopsis on the DC website can drop his g's when writing (nothin', tryin', and spillin' . I am from the South and find that excessive.
JSA #82

Paul Levitz is one of the major architects of the DCU. George Perez is one of the most iconic classic artists in the history of comics. This issue features these masters writing a story about the Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman of the Golden Age. You do not need more reasons to read this comic.
Nightwing #117

Another comic this week that has deviated from the previous plot descriptions. The Deathstroke plot was tied up nicely issue before last. Expect more of Nightwing dealing with Bludhaven's destruction, and beginning to rise to lead the heroes against the onslaught that is the Crisis.
Robin #147

Willingham's best story focuses more on the Titans than on Robin. The team breaks into the old Cadmus facilities to find something to keep Superboy alive. They run into something resembling an old foe who has not been around for a while.
Showcase Presents House of Mystery Vol. 1

Dare to enter the House of Mystery. Reprints over 500 pages of classic horror comics.
Supergirl #4

Anyone remember what happened last issue? Me neither. When you put a 3 month gap between issues it is kinda hard to keep up with the story. It was recently reported that the next issue will be Jeph Loeb's last issue, so I guess since the guy is moving on to Marvel, his deadlines at DC don't hold too much meaning.
Superman #226

The last issue, kinda. After this issue the title goes back to its original numbering that was the numbering of Adventures of Superman. Confused? Try figuring out how all of this is supposed to be organized. Looks like a great story telling the origins of Kal-L the Golden Age Superman.
Teen Titans #32

Following the recent patterns of various titles showing a specific perspective on events in the Infinite Crisis miniseries, Superboy Prime fights Superboy. See how the brutal fight from INFINITE CRISIS #4 affected the Titans.
Teen Titans/Outsiders: The Death and Return of Donna Troy

Irony is that neither Teen Titans or Outsiders was being published when Donna Troy died. See the ending to the Young Justice and Titans series, and the return of a pivotal character in the Infinite Crisis.
Wonder Woman: Land of the Dead

Just as Wonder Woman is dealing with her blindness, Cheetah attacks with the help of the Reverse Flash. Some days you just can't get a break.

Supergirl I've been trying to follow, but those gaps got in the way. I suppose I'll hope for trades to come soon.
The TItans I'll be waiting for the next trade, although the Superboy fight is something that gets me interested in buying the issue.
and I'm getting the Donna Troy for sure, I've been waiting for that story a while now.
The Batman strikes should be good, its a pretty fun little series to check out every once and a while. And Batgirl's addition should be interesting in the comics just as it was in the show.

I pick up Teen Titans in trades, so it'll be a while before I read that issue. Rucka's Wonder Woman has been fantastic, I'm very sad that it ends later this month. Any JLA fan should give it a shot; I'd recommend the Eyes of the Gorgon trade as an excellent place to start. Jonah Hex is a great book, too. One of the 3 best books I buy, every single month.
Of course, I gotta wait until next week to get all this stuff. It just shipped today, so I won't get it until Tuesday or Wednesday. :sigh:
