Check this out, this is from an email once of my friends sent me. It shows a bunch of the upcoming DC Superheroes figures from Mattel. And just look at who their Batwoman figure is:

Yeah, it's an action figure, but I figured this thread should be here since the whole Batwoman identity debate is surrounding the comics. I'll post the other links in the action figure section.

they probably jst screwed up with the name,they even spelled caine wrong they wrote kane

It is a tough call, since in the other thread with the new figures there is a Batgirl.
I would almost say that this is possible, even with the Kane spelling. One thing holding this back is:
Spoiler for Batgirl #72:
Cassandra Cain died at the hands of her brother.
End Spoiler.
There is one more issue so this could be undone, you never know. Remember that the original Batwoman was Betty Kane. A character that has existed Post Crisis. She did die, however. I know that Cassandra recently was looking for her mother. Anyone that picks up this title know if she found her? What if Betty Kane is Cassandra's mother? Pretty wild theory, but plausible. We'll just have to wait and see.

Whose her brother? And how did she die? I pretty much thought she was unstoppable. I really like Cassie, then again, I like Conner and they are killing him too...

According to the description for Batgirl #72 her "brother" (which may mean that he is not her actual brother) is called Mad Dog. I think that is just a character they made up for the story. I have heard that she also sees Stephanie Brown after she dies. I will have to see if the comic shop guy will get me a copy of this and I need to make sure to pick up the last issue since things have gotten a little confusing.

When the Titans went into the future didn't Starfire have a little chat with a Batwoman. She was blonde, and apparently she was Batman's former protege. Obviously this wasn't how the future actually turns out (it never is) but that little trip through time did hint at some things that would be happening (Aquagirl eventually joining, bound to happen anyway, Ravager/Kid Flash, Titans East, etc.)
Is it unreasonable to beleive that Cassandra will remain Batgirl (menaing that the text on the picture was just printed wrong) and Batwoman is gonna be some new blonde chic?

MORE RECENT BATGIRL SPOILERS HERE.......
We were led to believe that Lady Shiva is Batgirl's mother, but that still hasn't been confirmed. Cassie's brother, Mad Dog, was Caine's first attempt at doing what he did with Cassie when she was a child. Dog "broke," though, and became uncontrollable and feral. One of the Ubus was supposed to kill him, on orders from Ra's al Ghul, but Ubu took pity on the child and spared him. Hence, he was set loose in the wilderness and survived to this day. Cassie took him down, but she died from wounds he dealt her. However, at the end of the issue, Shiva was carrying the body, presumably to the nearest Lazarus Pit.
The Batwoman seen in the Titans Tomorrow story arc is the heroine currently known as Flamebird.

You really can't count on any of the stuff that happened in the Future Titans arc happening anyway. The only constant that I have seen about time travel stories is that once a character sees the future, that future won't happen. I really think that was just a story to get the present Titans thinking about their motivations and actions.

WHile that's true, future stories tend to at least hint at some things that will be happening.
