Really? Wow, I didn't look that up or anything. I know Doctor Death was one of the very first Bat-Man villians, and I remember how he was left to die in a burning building. "Death, to Doctor Death!"

...Anyway, Here's my question:

Now this a little more recent. During the "Absolute Power" story in Superman/Batman, who did Bruce Wayne need to borrow a Batman costume from in a reality where he never became Batman? (it is kind of lame, but it happened) If no one knows it, I might switch to something a little less difficult.

*Sigh* Just as I figured. Bruce borrowed his Batman costume from his father, who was wearing it for a Halloween party held at Wayne Manor. Kind of a stretch, considering how perfect it fit Bruce, and the fact that it was exactly like his.

Here's a new question:
Which storyline pitted Batman against just about all of his most fearsome foes all at once in Arkham Asylum?

The Last Arkham arc when Shadow of the Bat was to be a miniseries (issues 1-4). Jeremiah Arkham (whatever happened to him anyway?) forced Batman to fight all of the inmates for "therapy." Cool story arc, something you guys would enjoy reading.

I figured you'd know that one. Nice avatar by the way.

It's wierd, I've gotten two copies of LotDK #4 at flea markets and they both came with a paper pop-out Arkham and blueprints to Arkham (something I'll scan eventually), but they were always place in a standard boarded clear bag. Was this originally available in a neat little Batman baggy?

Anyway, you're up, Darknight.

Thanks, the change seemed appropriate because of the new site, and Aparo's death.

Well, lots of people around seem to have enjoyed No Man's Land, so lets go with a question from the cause of NML the Cataclysm.

After the quake, a hidden figure, calling himself the Quakemaster (Quake Master?) came out and said that he had caused it. Who was the Quakemaster really?

Bonus points: What clues lead Robin to realize who he was?

You're right Shadowbat.

Fire away.

Bonus Points Answer: In the Quake Master's threatening broadcasts he avoided saying words with the letter "b" in them. The words with a "b" would have made more sense, but the Ventriloquist is not good enough at his craft to say a "b" without it sounding like a "g."

this is going back a ways, in the story arc Blind Justice, Bruce is hauled away by authorities and told he should co operate because they know his secret and what he did in his mysterious travels when he was absent from Gotham when he was younger. what "secret" did they think?

Okay, here's the next one:

During the '60s, one of the attempts to break up the "boy's club" feel of the Batman books was the death of Alfred. Alfred later returned, but not in his usual guise. What name did the resurrected Alfred operate under until his identity was revealed?

Here's a hint: it's not a name any character currently has, but it has been associated with Batman in another capacity.

Nope, but nice try. Smile Since my question was apparently a bit too hard, I'll give the answer here so we can hopefully keep this moving again. The answer is: The Outsider!

Okay, new question. I'll make this one easy: what was the name of the gangster responsible for the murder of Dick Grayson's parents?

"The Sons of the Batman." I had to double-check, though...it had been a while since I read DKR.

Here's a silly one: What musical group had a special guest appearance when Batman's "new look" (with the yellow oval around the bat) first debuted?

Hint: "HH"
