Okay, straight from Dan Didio himself, here's the official list of books whose cancellations have been confirmed.
-Flash, with January's #230
-Plastic Man, with January's #20
-Gotham Knights, with February's #74
-Gotham Central, with February's #40
-JLA, with February's #125
-Wonder Woman, with February's #226
-Superman, with February's #226
-Batgirl, with February's #73
Adventures of Superman will regain its original title, Superman, with March's #650. It was renamed AoS after John Byrne's reboot in 1986, and will now be reverting to its original title. There are many other interesting tidbits in the interview, including a bit more information on 52.

Wow, I had heard the rumor about Superman, but I figured it wouldn't happen. It just seemed like a weird tactic that Marvel would do.
True story (some facts may be changed, correct me if I say this wrong)- Marvel decided to take Fantastic Four to a new number one issue after the Heroes Return story. Then they realized that the titlewas getting close to one of those monumental numbers, 500 or so. They started putting two numbers on the comic, then switched it fully to the old numbers. Sneaky.
My pull list is really getting knocked down with these changes. Pretty wild.

Looking at the article, I think Didio also mentioned Batgirl was going to be cancelled too. Unless I am reading the wrong article though. |

YEah, I forgot to list Batgirl for some reason originally. THat's why I linked the article, though, in case I forgot anything!
Marvel has done the double-numbering thing for several books. Daredevil launched that way under the Marvel Knights imprint, although I'm not sure if it still carries the dual-numbering or not. They reverted Avengers to its original numbering, too, when Bendis began his "Disassembled" storyline. The Superman change has been rumored for months now, and I have to say I like the idea. It felt like something intangible had been lost, with such a long-running book having its title changed. THey're fixing that now. Just imagine if Detective Comics was renamed "Adventures of Batman" or something like that. It just wouldn't be right.

wow kinda sad to see them get rid of a solid number of books there. but i guess thats just part of how it all goes. lol the superman thing confused me but i fi have it right then AoS is to Batman what action is to detective, so it makes sense...i think lol.
but i think thats answers my question from anther thread about whter or not LOTDK is endin, as i thought it was for some reason but apprently its not.

I finally got a copy of Wizard 171. You can add LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT to the list of cancelled titles. Of course in the next paragraph listing out this rather long list Didio says that things like Wonder Woman and The Flash will get relaunches.

Not surprised to hear that LOTDK is really ending. Honestly, since they've started using it mostly to tell more modern-day stories, its become redundant and mostly useless. It's gotten away from its original purpose. It was a given that WW and FLash would be back. Supposedly, Terry Dodson will be the artis on the new WW book, which would be great if true. Another strong rumor is that JLA will be back after a 1-year hiatus, at which time it will revert to the numbering of the original JL book(#500, I believe).

I've heard that if you add up all the JLA series they would be at #500 after the issue that is ending the series. I wonder when Legends is supposed to be cancelled because if you look at the march solicitations there are two issues shipping that month with the first 2 parts of a 3 part story. Maybe they decided to cram the extra issues in to get the series finished. I wouldn't be surprised if the April issue was the final one.

Could be. The upcoming Batman Confidential is supposed to replace LOTDK, so whenever it ends, I imagine we'll see the new book the next month.
