Yep . . .
We have the "junk WalMart" . . .
You never know WHAT will be there.
Sometimes, you get a great "find," usually not.
Sometimes it gets LOTS of one size of a sized item, NONE of any other size. Great if it fits you, crappy if not.

A second Wal-Mart tonight netted the larger “Movie Masters” figures. These are the larger 6” figures that include Batman, The Joker, Gotham City Thug and a mask less Batman “Chase” figure. There were plenty of each on the pegs except the Chase figure. These are $11.47 at Wal-Mart, but I watched a The Joker figure go for $56.00 on eBay, so get your The Joker figures at retail while you can.

They also had the Shift Attack Sport Coupe and I was disappointed that it is not in either 5.5” or 6” scale, but rather a smaller scale with exclusive smaller figures. So far I have not seen the Batmobile for either line of The Dark Knight figures. I did not look to closely at it, but I may pass on this

Triple Shot Batman, Cross Bola Batman, Fusion Force Batman and Hover Attack Batman are the 5.5” Power Tek figures that are out now. They are all new sculpts and feature light up accessories. These are aimed right at kids

I have yet to see the regular 5.5” figures, Staff Strike BATMAN, Destructo-Case The Joker or Bruce To Ninja BATMAN, but I expect to see them on the pegs somewhere by this Friday.

In response to Caleson's question, it's not a big promotional display that stands alone in the store. It's just a lot of pegs in the action figure section that are now filled up with TDK stuff. In the same area where I had been looking for unfound TB figures. They're all in the same zone now. I checked back tonight and saw that they have since set out the Bruce Wayne coupes. They have both beige and black.

I went back to the same Wal-Mart tonight and most of the Movie Master The Joker figures from yesterday were gone. I did find a few in other places away from the original spot I found them.

I also found an End Cap full of 5.5” figures away from the main action figure aisle, but only picked up a Staff Strike Batman and Destructo-Case The Joker from them so far. Some are Batman Begins reused molds, but most are all-new.

I also found the 12” Action Cape Batman, but left him for later as well. I like the Batman Begins version better. TDK’s Action Cape Batman has the cape spring loaded from the body, which will hurt articulation and it has a large “hump” like thing behind his shoulders, probably part of the cape launcher.

I looked closer at the Shift Attack Sport Coupe and I only saw it in one color, graphite. That triangle shaped box packaging is the worst. I’m still thinking twice about getting it.

There was a mistake made with Destructo-Case The Joker. The one I have has dark green knee pins that match the jacket while the pants are light green. I did not notice this until after I got home. I see by the pictures above that there are light green knee pins The Jokers figures out there.

You know you guys are kinda getting me scared that I won't be able to get any TDK action figures. LOL. I'm hoping I get Batman in the new costume, and the purple jacket Joker. Those are the only two I care about.

I need to check my Wal-mart this weekend, see if I can get my hands on the a Movie Masters Joker and Batman...

A little off topic, do they have an official release date for wave two of the Movie Masters line?

My local Wal-Mart added more to the TDK section last night. There were a lot of kid-type accessories that I ignored. But they also added three action figures slightly larger than the standard ones. There's a Batman, Joker and Gotham City Thug, each "With Crime Scene Evidence".

The Crime Scene Evidence are the figures sculpted by the Four Horsemen. I'm trying to get the Joker one from that series. I've got a feeling it'll be hard to find.

Based on where I live . . .
The local Walmart will get NO figures at all . . .
MANY Jokers . . .
or
NO Jokers and LOTS of some other figure . . .

(I'm kinda used to it.)

That's the "Movie Masters" line.

The Wal-Mart where I found TDK figures had moved them from an End Cap to an Aisle Square with them only one side. I was able to get the rest of the Basic Figure Assortment of 5.5” figures including a Joker with the correct green knee pins.

They still had Movie Masters figures, but only Batman and Gotham City Thug. The rest of The Joker figures seen two days ago were gone. They also had some vehicles, Batcycle, Knight Cycle and Attack Copter that were not there before. Knight Cycle looks like a reissue of a BB cycle, but the other two look new.

A low tire issue on my BatStang kept me from a full sweep today, but I did go to a Toys R Us and they had NOTHING TDK. I wanted to hit a Target, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

One Wal-Mart near me has had a pretty good run of TDK stuff, and I was able to grab what I wanted. The other Wal-Mart has literally nothing TDK: not even shelf space or endcap space for stuff to go in the future.

I hit a Target and found nothing except some new JLU 3 Packs. A second TRU looked like they had nothing, but I found a very small assortment of TDK figures way up front where I normally would not look. TRU did have the Wayne Tech Tri-Fire Blaster, but only a couple of the other role-play toys. They have two Movie Masters figures, Batman and Gotham City Thug, no The Joker or Batman chase figures.

I have not seen the above Movie Multi Pack, but none of the figures in it are exclusives, so I have little reason to buy it. They are just re-releases of single carded figures I already have or will have soon. The Joker in the purple suit will be “Punch Packing The Joker” in the next wave of basic 5.5” TDK figures and will come with a Bazooka like punching accessory.

So far Wal-Mart looks to be the place to find TDK things. I have all the figures except the Batman chase figure and I may end up going to eBay for that. I’ve picked up a few of the role playing toys as well, but not a lot. One day I will build a Bat Gadget Wall with all of the role play toys and utility belts I have mounted on it.

For the most part I’m done with my TDK shopping until the Batmobile and Bat Pod and second wave of figures come out in the next few weeks.

Just went lookin through ebay and there are a lot more Joker figure available at more reasonable prices, mostly in the $5-$15 range. And most of the Movie Masters Joker's are starting at $10.

The Target in my area was had a lot of the Wave 1 DC Classics figures like Penguin, Detective Batman, etc...but no Dark Knight figures

I went back to the Toys R' Us I went to yesterday and I was able to pick up the chase Batman and the Joker MM. Now my mission is to find a second for each of them.

on the 1st I went to TRU and got every basic figures, Light up Figures, and movie masters figure. they had a lot of stuff put out. If you don't want to waste your cash on a new Batmobile the TDK Batman fits in the BB one. The TRU 4 pack has a cheap TDK Batman. The sholder pad fell off mine so I returned it and then it happened agian so I returned it agian. Then when I got home my movie masters Batman's sholder pad fell offsad I spent $172 that day. The basic figures are OK. The movie masters figures are great except they aren't in scale with DCUC so there not 6" but I really don't care they look great! I wasn't able to find a Bat-Pod or the Playsets. At Walmart I saw a Bruce wayne and Batman 2 pack that came with Bruce Wayne's car, The figures are the DC Infinte heroes scale. I would try TRU or Walmart to find these.
