I've been accepted, among others, to chat with Mattel on their Batman and Superman lines that LoG will be havign tomorrow. Now, I have only 1-2 questions on my mind, I wanna know if you have anything.
If you have questions for Mattel, tell me before I go and chat with them which will be around 2:00pm on 1/5/06. Which is 12 hours from now as I write.
So tell me now, QUICK!
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

If you are attached to futher Batman figure projects, will you put more effort into making more moulds?

Bad News. I and many like me couldn't talk to Mattel due to computer problems on Mattel's side. So its still on, just that we'll talk to them sometime later.

It comes out this spring. As I said in the DC Superheroes thread, we should have all of the figure by Summer.

I want to know when they will do a Chat with BYTB. Afterall LoG does not even have the figures from the original four Batman films on thier site, while BYTB has just about every figure released on ours.:bigrazz:
I also want to know if they will ever ship 3 whole waves of figures overseas again, or have they sorted out the U.S. distribution problems?

Um, what happened to the display stands that were shown with the new DC Superhereos line!? These are a $1 more than Marvel Legends, cheaper plastics, reused parts, less joints, fewer colors, and details....And why do they have to use such the cheap, rubber, unstabled plastics for joints and structural parts. My Justice League figures are all bending forward or backward, even when I have put reinforcement pegs into their legs.
Maybe they could ask Toybiz some questions later after this session?

I love the Marvel Legends, but lets face it some of them are even bad. Take Elektra for example. The articulation especially on the legs is horrible.
My guess is that the softer plastic is cheaper to use than the harder plastic and that?s why they use it. The thinner legs in the JL/JLU figures makes them prone to bending forward and falling over.
Mattel can make great figure that are similar to the Marvel Legends, Attack Armor Batman and Bat Signal Batman are proof of that, but for some reason they often fall short.

I know that the soft plastic must be cheaper, but come on...I took a look around at some cheap toys at walmart and they use better plastics and are still cheaper, so even after the DC lisense they should be roughly the same price one would think. A three pack of those figs for 10 bucks...theres not even 2 dollars worth of materials in the whole thing including the packaging...Im just dissapointed in the quality Mattel uses, they have some great sculpts and ideas sometimes but cutting corners hurts them the most like reusing molds
