The size of the new tie-bat (called Batblade by the company) is:

(Attack mode/domed front)
fuslage length: 5.5 inches, (slghtly over 6 inches in "stealth mode"wink
2 inch diameter across window area
wing root span: 6 inches
total span: 9 inches vertical (slightly canted away from cockpit)
9.5 inches in "attack mode" (wings canted/angled STEPPLY toward cockpit)

I'd say it is a bit large for 1/43 (48) scale, but usable for 1/32 or 1/24 (depending upon how large or small it is being used as). It is too small for anything larger. The figure inside seems to be Batman lying upon his stomach, much like the "ram" planes of the late 40s/50s (designed to ram the tails off planes when they thought the speeds would outstrip bullets). The head looks to be a match for my 1/24 scale Batman figures (designed as parachute men, but 3" tall).

Sum Nox!

Very cool, I'll definitely grab one of these for my 1/24 cave. Thanks for the update!
