But Joker himself is a comic character! (and I dont mean he's actually in comics - although clearly that's a fact too).
White face, blood red lipstick, green hair, yellow teeth and a purple suit! Even in California you don't get too many people looking quite like that!
He's an animated, colourful, clown-looking nutcase; whether it be comics, films or tv! If he spoke like Steven (I'm just the cook) Seagal it simply wouldnt work (in whatever medium!).
Hence Hamill and high pitched, psychotic buffoonery. Surely?

joker is an icon who is seen in almost every comic hes in to be telling some sort of joke and at least wanting to kill someone or actually doing it hes never without a plan or crazy idea he just is insane and freaks everyone out iven if it means telling a bad joke

No you don't get many people who dress up as clowns... But when you do they're anything but funny. Look at Juggalos, ICP fanatics who dress up as clowns and hang out in gangs... They don't tell jokes, they just listen to hard-rock music and worship gothic/punk rock images. Not all that comedic. And they've been known to commit gang crimes, which you gotta admit a bunch of thugs in clown make-up beating you with crowbars isn't funny.
And strange you should mention it, since a while back there was a man around my home town who would dress up like a clown, slather himself in fake blood, and walk around scaring the crap out of people.
The truth is while a clown is a humourous, benign figure; it is also to some people an image so frightening they'll actually have a seizure from seeing them (I know someone like that, can't wear Joker t-shirts anywhere around her). Simliarly, Joker can go either way, he can be the comedic interpretation or the scary interpretation... I personally prefer the latter, so Hammil's Joker isn't deffinitive to me.
Anyway, we've gone way off topic. Whatever your opinion is, you've got to admit Heath's Joker and Hamil's Joker are nothing alike.

you've got to admit Heath's Joker and Hamil's Joker are nothing alike.
There is nothing the same but only the look......somewhat.
I know heath did something special with the Joker and that is bring the crazy killer to life in live action.

Well, they can't really build big enough of a set to film whole chase scenes, it doesn't matter how big a hangar they're using... So for a new Batmobile to have anything more than an ending cameo they would have had to have used it while filming in Chicago; so we'd probably know about it by now.

Batman On Film is reporting that The Dark Knight may have an advanced screening this March at the ShoWest cinema convention in Las Vegas.
