marion cotillard has also been rumored to be in the dark knight rises.
that's 4 people from inception in the dark knight rises now! tom hardy, joseph gordon levitt, marion cotillard, and michael caine ... and maybe cillian murphy if scarecrow decides to show up again.
anyhow, there has been speculation that levitt will be alberto and cotillard will be talia. with alberto and selina kyle being carmine's children, and talia being ghuls' daughter, people have been saying it the theme might have to do with the "sins of the father" type of thing.
AND! even bane is a character whose been affected by his father - since his dad escaped punishment, bane was born in prison, forced to take punishment for his father's crimes - then becoming bane to escape, then break the bat.
all speculation of coarse, although i doubt marion will be playing talia - i'm thinking sarah essen. but we'll see. she might even just be selina kyle's roommate or something like that.

I don't see her playing Sarah Essen... Unless they decide to make her french. And seeing as Ra's used the alias Ducard (who is a french character) I think it's more likely that they would make Talia french. That said, I'm still doubtful about Talia.
If we were to go with someone for Essen, I'd pick Kate Winslett.

In my opinion they already have plenty of good things they can do with Catwoman and Bane, I don't see a need for a character like Talia to show up. I'm hoping this is a rumor. If, however, Talia is in the film I hope it's a rather small role. |

Actually, I'm betting that Talia will be the bigger role. Why? because shes the one to tie all three movies together and she's out for revenge. I'm guessing that Bane will be working for her or at least the League.

According to Variety, Joseph Gordon Levitt will apparently be playing Alberto Falcone in the new movie. Interesting. That's a lot of Inception stars. I'm a huge fan of his though, one of my favorite actors. |
