Ew.com has a poll asking BATMAN Fans to vote for their favorite BATMAN Actor.
The Choices are
1. Christian Bale -BATMAN BEGINS,THE DARK KNIGHT
2. Adam West - The 1966 BATMAN : Tv Series
3. Michael Keaton - BATMAN & BATMAN Returns
4. George Clooney - Batman & robin
Sadly for any fans of Val Kilmer from BATMAN FOREVER was not a candidate in this poll [which I think is a load of Bull, He has more of a right to be their than Clooney Who nearly destoryed The BATMAN movie franchise.]

The only reason Clooney is in there is because he nearly destroyed the role; if B&R had been the same as Forever than maybe Kilmer would have had a shot.

in one of the interviews, joel said he couldnt get a hold of kilmer, so he decided to just get another batman...bad move. kilmer said he would have been batman again. i bet B&R could have been better with kilmer. it would have sucked, but not nearly as much as it did with clooney.
anyways...i'd say christian bale, michael keaton, adam west, and george clooney.
had kilmer been on the list, he would have replaced adam at 3rd.

I couldnt choose between Bale & Keaton - at this point it comes down to the fact MK did more films (!) from which we can currently choose, so I'll go............
1 - Keaton
2 - Bale
3 - West
4 - Kilmer (on principle, even if he isn't actually a candidate).
Although there are aspects of Keaton's films I wasn't potty on, I think he (MK) absolutely nailed the part as both Batman and Bruce. I wasn't happy when he got the job, but he proved me wrong completely.
If 4% of people of actually choose Clooney then lord knows what sort of films they enjoy.........
Adam West's potrayal actually got me into Batman - although I've since realised that's not quite the way Bob Kane actually envisioned it! |
